We are Big Deez Productions, a team of video game industry professionals that comes from legendary projects like HALO, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, Alan Wake, Spec Ops: The Line, Battlefield, Killzone, Max Payne, Duke Nukem, and many other huge franchises.
We are in partnership with the man, Shaquille O’Neal, an avid gamer himself. We got tired of bowing to the monolithic men with the money and wanted to work with people who care about the quality of the product. We are people with passion that intend to make solid, addictive, kick ass games, without a whiff of BS. And who are our big executive partners in this effort…? YOU! Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn, is where it all begins.
Dat upper body.
Incredible.
Shaq Fu and Michael Jackson's Moonwalker are some of the best classics.
Holy shit Shaq looks so ripped he couldn't even fit into the Crysis 3 nanosuit.
Not gonna lie when he first smiles and his face is illuminated I was like, yeah that's fucking shaq.
If they keep the game as funny as that trailer was I might even buy it. If they can implement gameplay elements that are fun, that is.
I saw Shaq pretty recently after seeing Star Trek: Into Darkness; he was standing in the lobby of the movie theater. Man looks like a fucking spartan he's so big
YES PLEASE
PLEASE

I hope this is a joke...
Shaq Fu is what the original game should have been – an instant classic. We're talking Streets of Rage meets Street Fighter meets Devil May Cry. It’s a modern day take on the classic beat ‘em up. Play as Shaquille O’Neal – learn hundreds of moves and battle techniques, take on thousands of enemies with dozens of cool melee weapons, battle bosses in dynamic arenas, master cool finishing moves and play with your buddies in COOP mode or against each other in player vs player combat.
It's in name only.
It's not really Shaq Fu 2.
I'll wait to see some gameplay but I love that it has a sense of humour.
actual gameplay guys!

Yours now for only two payments of 12.49!
if you ever actually played Shaq Fu on the genesis, you'll know that everything but the gameplay of the original was, in fact, quite good. plus I kind of liked the goofy story

the trouble is, most of the people who have heard of it have seen the SNES version, which has atrocious everything except for graphics.
...that trailer was dreadful though, good lord. hope to see some gameplay soon
will republican president sett see his second term after all

It's better than some other fighting games on Game Gear, more responsive than any of the Mortal Kombat ports imo.

It's not, you need your Shaq Shoes in Black, Blue, Green, Rainbow, and even the elusive White Shaq skin!
And don't forget about the legendary Basketball weapon with dunking action and a secret boss battle with Charles Barkley.

Loving how it states "for one year" like he would make a point in his agenda saying "Unfollow [person name]"
Something about the name "Big Deez Productions" made me laugh.
They won't even pay for travel fees if you give them $25,000 are you kidding me.
$3,000
get's you floor seat tickets at a king's game.
I would get this if I could.
Why can't he fund the game himself?
Why can't he fund the game himself?
he said in the indiegogo page he is putting his own money into funding the game.
He isn't the first one that has done this.
If this ever actually comes out, will I have to get it on Origin?... I wouldn't imagine a game not many wanted to remember if it wasn't for keeping special moves hidden, to giving Sett Ra an unfair advantage.
Also, Big Deez with Battlefield or even Duke Nukem? Not from what I remember; the former was by DICE, the latter originally by 3D Realms and now Gearbox or so.
I think I have a copy of Shaq Fu up with my Sega Genesis...

What they meant was that among them there are developers/artists/etc that worked on said titles on different studios.
Shaq Fu was the first ever fighting game I played and it was fucking awesome fight me

The names should definitely have been specified then, unless someone (like the shameless guys who had to work for EA, after doing a sucessor to Eric Chahi's Another World) felt embarassed or had... in the worse cases, paranoia about death threats. Not that death threats through mail is good, they're not good at all.
