He claimed the “American people are drowning in rules and regulations” imposed by “unelected bureaucrats”. And the EPA, he added, was “an extraordinary offender”. Donald Trump has appointed a known climate change sceptic, Scott Pruitt, to head the EPA, an organisation he has regularly take legal action against as Oklahoma’s attorney-general. According to reports, the EPA is facing major budget cuts under the new administration. Its staff have also been ordered not to use official social media accounts or speak to journalists without permission. But, in his email, Mr Gaetz called for the abolition of the EPA.
:suicide:
RIP Earth and everyone on it I guess
Forget the usual Trump supporters, I'd like to see anyone defend this.
More like: "One republican asks for support of his bill that will probably never see the light of day"
50 years from now:
Person A: "Oh fuck, our children are dying of lung problems because the air is polluted. Also we're starving to death because bees are going extinct and none of our crops can survive. Person B: "Hey dude, it's okay. At least we gave the conservatives free speech to deny climate change. That makes it all worth it."
We need to ban climate change denial now. It's a dangerous lie and we don't have the time to try and win a fake "debate" with people so resistant to change.
holy shit anyone in Congress who would actually vote for this will find themselves kicked the fuck out of office by the surge of Democrats next election cycle. That's like kicking the god damn hornet nest.

I'm certain the EPA does a bit more than climate change stuff. Like make sure we aren't drinking crap water or being poisoned, stuff like that.

Holy fucking shit, lol. How can anyone honestly continue to support a party that seems to be based on "make money for a few people at the expense of literally anything else" for decades? Republicans can restore some of my faith in their party by shooting this down. There seem to be a few principled ones left.
Guess it was worth saving my inspirational Trump macro template.
My friend is defending this saying they were clouded with beuracracy and run by the globalist elite, my blood is fucking boiling right now Im so mad at him. He also wants to leave the un, and hes only 16....
We need to remove these people now, or we're all going to fucking die.
I'm just convinced that the goal of the GOP is just to make the objectively worst decisions possible

These psychopaths/idiots, I'm not sure which it is, are going to end up killing us all. For fucks sake this is beyond the point of ridiculousness.
At this point I'm all for a coup or a revolution. It doesn't matter if they won fair and square according to rules, the future of the planet is way more important.
Because daddy-billionaire will give me some of his money hugs, and who knows, maybe some day I'll be a millionaire too? I wish, I dunno, McCain ran against Hillary. [editline]1st February 2017[/editline] Don't talk politics with kids (sorry younger people but, you know). 90% of the time, no matter how well intended, their politics are based in either complete agreement of their parents' or out of total rebellion of those of their parents.
Im 16 also, I just thought it was funny he wanted to abolish the UN and claimed to know so much at only 16, and I think it is just in rebelllion to his parents, he watches a lot of alt right anti feminist youtube channels so thats probably why.
He claimed the “American people are drowning in rules and regulations” imposed by “unelected bureaucrats”.
Well I mean oil companies are corporations and in the dear old US of A corporations are people so I guess that's not entirely wrong No but seriously this is the most blatant dicksucking of corporate interests ever [editline]1st February 2017[/editline] Just take a long hard look at Trump's cabinet and then try and tell me with a straight face this is actually for the good of the American people
Is it possible to charge someone with crimes against humanity for what will happen because of their greed/ignorance?

How can anyone say the same of the Democratic party? Do people honestly believe the DP is "for the people" any more than the Republicans are? If the recent election showed us anything it's that they don't give a shit about the right person running America and the only welfare they care about is that of themselves or people with sufficient power (i.e. Clinton dynasty). Assume this is coming from, say, a self-proclaimed "disillusioned libertarian". Not saying all libertarians are like this but y'all know the type.
Who needs the environment anyway? Corporations can just make and sell to you what the environment could do for free! Make sure to stock up on Bottled Air folks!
Why haven't this retarded orangutang been removed the presidential office yet? I would've started a petition if i was an american.
Who needs the environment anyway? Corporations can just make and sell to you what the environment could do for free! Make sure to stock up on Bottled Air folks!
Yeah but if the environment does it for free how can we use that demand to make jobs??
To be fair, thus far this is a law suggested by one representative, in an email acquired by the Huffington Post. That being said, the representative in question has a voting history that supports this claim, and said bill should appear on congress.gov's introduced legislation bit soon if it exists.
We need to remove these people now, or we're all going to fucking die.
We also need to deal with the people who elected them in the first place and who continue to support them in spite of everything they're doing. "People that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims-- they're accomplices."
Good, the EPA was always a bloated agency.

The people are gonna fight this. It hasn't even been proposed yet.
At least when politicians vote for this bill you have a nice easy list of people not fit to be politicians anymore.
