Another track I worked on all day to finish. Hope everyone enjoys! You can also purchase this track for $1 on Bandcamp if you would like :). Although I would understand if you didnt. http://bullseye.bandcamp.com/ Here's some pages and stuff if you like my music :) Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/theofficialbullseye Twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/TheBullseye44 SoundCloud: http://soundcloud.com/bull04 Sorry if this looks like a bunch of promotion stuff. Just got all my pages and stuff for my artist pseudonym set up and I never posted them.
i'd probably wait before you start selling tracks for 1$, i'd be seriously surprised even if you got one sale. not because of the quality of the music necessarily, but because of how its going directly to you and nobody's ever heard of your music before anyway, there doesn't seem to be any low end/sub bass whatsoever, and the buildups to the drops are pretty bad/uninteresting. the kick drum seems to be pillowing majorly into the song itself, and it seems to be entirely composed of low end. i'd try to find a kick that has highs and mids for a song like this, and a snappy kind of snare with alot of mid instead of the puffy one you're using, because it does the synthwork no justice. the synths sound a little bit stock, though i like the melody on the drop and the way it breaks down at 3:16. overall youve got a good idea lined up, and this could be great if there was some more attention paid into the smaller details, and if you revamped the drumloop entirely

The idea to sell the track wasn't mainly to gain attention, but rather see how good a track would sell and see if it could gauge how people enjoy the music. As for the song itself, I've always had trouble finding good samples for stuff like that. I'm not very high on dosh, so I can't go out and buy huge sample packs worth like $30 that are really good. There's always been something about my tracks I couldn't quite get right as well. I'll have to work on it some more and see what goes on. Anyways, thanks for listening :).

Loopmasters have free sample loops and trial tracks for you to download and see what they sound like; my first sample pack i bought was the ASC experimental drum and bass pack which i saved up for a month with spare change & interest for, and when i bought it, it was life changing. The stock samples you get really are useless for anything other than cheesy 90s hip hop beats there are also a few websites you can get free samples from, i cant remember what site it was but there was one i downloaded a good 30gb from, all of them perfectly legal, royalty free and safe
Great idea for a song, use that melo and get better fx and redo your synths.. still, the whole buildup is not that good and it feels like i was waiting for a year for the bass to kick in.
I like it
Due to me just barely throwing a track out and charging for it, I decided I should just make it free. It's free to download now so you can go on and check it out if you want.
