Hey guys, I haven't slept in over 24 hours so I'm at that weird quirky, lack of sleep phase! For fun I've recorded the first part of A Day In The Life, I'm wondering what you guys think. Where Can I improve in singing and recording. I haven't really been singing that long, I haven't had any vocal training I just sing because I like it. They say you don't need a good voice in rock 'n' roll aslong as you have the passion! haha Yeah I like effects to change my voice, plus john lennon double tracked and added effects to his voice on this song anyway! It might be a bit out of key but oh well. Man I'm feeling quirky :v:
Wow, really nice. Who played the instruments? [editline]24th October 2011[/editline] my advice would be try singing in a lower key because the changes in tone seem slightly forced.

If you're talking about the high notes I'll work on them, always had a bit of bother getting that high. This is just the real beatles playing an instrumental take. I'm actually waiting on a friend to finish building his studio. When its done I'll be posting more 60's and 70s covers with me playing the instruments.
Yeah I was about to say, those instrumentals could NOT have been played by non-pros. I don't think you need to worry so much if you can't get the high notes in, just make it your own and do what you feel comfortable doing.
