this is actually pretty cool its a good game get it
this is actually pretty cool its a good game get it
It's nothing like the other Splinter Cell games. It became more of a shooter than a stealth game. Plus the MP on PC is dead, so.
It's nothing like the Splinter Cell games, but it's pretty fun. I found it to be like a season of 24. It was also pretty short if I remember correctly. But still fun.
It's fun, that's all that matters to me :v: glad I got it.
Yeah. Fun, but more like 24 than Splinter Cell. I very much enjoyed it. Plus I thought the DLC was worth it. It's 4 maps, but they're so awesome. Harder, cemeteries, boats, etc.
I find it great fun and always continue to play it in deniable ops and coop. It was a decent length about 8 hours, unless you abused tag and execute. Only thing i hate is you need stable net just to start the game which i don't really have. Agree with the DLC being awesome, some great maps.
I need to finish the hunter levels on realistic without being detected sometime. I'm about halfway through, but I just don't ever think about this game anymore.
Probably half the speed of Windows on the exact same hardware, like most mac games.
I don't understand why they had to reboot the series to make this 24 ripoff
I don't understand why they had to reboot the series to make this 24 ripoff
They said in an interview that they knew they couldn't do better than their older games (They named Chaos Theory; I agree.) so they decided, instead of churning out pointless copies of the old games, to go in a completely different direction and see what would happen. They first had hobo Sam in a social stealth game with lots of action and very little stealth. They realized they had gone too far after completing about 70% of the game and restarted from pretty much scratch. Used to be this: Be glad.

Good stealth games are rare nowadays.
Anyone else kinda like Double Agent (pc version)? I mean it obviously wasn't as good as chaos theory but it did dare to be slightly different without sacrificing the core gameplay
I'd love some more Chaos Theory. Seriously, I'd pay like 30-40$ for a map pack of like 10 maps for the CT co-op. [editline]29th March 2011[/editline] And I think Conviction is really nice, I just wouldn't put the "Splinter Cell" title on it.

It sounded pretty cool. What we got instead was Michael Bay's Splinter Cell. I had a little bit of fun with it but it was still shit.

It looked like a fun game, but I'd rather have the current Conviction as a Splinter Cell game than hobo Sam.
The ending to Conviction makes it worth it.
The co-op was the best part in my opinion. It's nice to see that they're still making time for PC and Mac users alike.
Now Mac users can experience the mediocrity!

I've never played a single game from this franchise before. Is it similar to Hitman?
Not really, but if you liked hitman you will most probably like splinter cell series also.
This Game became a Run and gun If you got good at it.
I don't see why you guys hate conviction me and my friend have tons of fun in it. There's something about busting into a room and taking out 6 people in 2 seconds so that you will stay undetected that appeals to me. I guess it kind of strays from splinter cell fashion but I like it, it adds some fast paced action that makes you feel like a boss.
this is actually pretty cool its a good game get it
no sorry it sucks
I love this game, but it was missing some classic features from the previous games. It was lacking the importance of stealth! Althouogh I do love the abundance of weapons :)
