Hey all, I've been looking for some new speakers.
I found the Edifier S530, which seemed to be pretty damn nice.
Today I heard about the M-Audio Studiophile BX5a Deluxe.
I mostly listen to bass heavy music like house and electro.
The Studiophile set has a 6.3mm connection, how can I merge that with my computer which has a 3.2?
Not sure if I'm interpreting your question correctly, but I think you need this:

Something like that. Though, wouldn't the conversion make the sound quality worse?
No?
its all metal to metal, so no loss of quality. And also the computer jacks are 3.5mm, which != 3.2mm
An adapter won't make any difference to the sound quality. You should be more worried about what you're plugging in to. Your onboard sound will sound like ass whether you like it or not, especially if you're using the front audio ports which tend to pick up a ton of noise. Get a proper sound card if you want to get 'serious'.
Yeah. Since the S530's are rather cheap, I could get a soundcard too.
Any suggestions for one?

Unless your running 100 and up amps your not going to see a difference in quality in the gauge conversion.
