Alright, so I got 3 teeth pulled today and down the bottom of a panflet thing they gave me it says "Smoking may harm or delay the process. Have any of you guys had teeth pulled and still smoked weed? Do you guys think that I should just cool for like a few days?
you should know this doc.
big smokes in yer mouf is bad fer ur health
basically, shit gets infected, and when they say "or delay the process" they mean "or get infected and we'll have to deal with your stoner-ass in the orthodontist's office for another 3 months".
And don't think "just one toke won't hurt" because it will, just one hit is enough to get your fugly-ass mouth infected.
If you need a toke real bad, use your nose! (seriously, it still gets you high, but you might be blowing up some off-colored snot).

Wow, thanks heaps man. I once tried it through my nose man, hurt like a bitch.
Generally if a doctor recommends you to stop smoking for a few days, you should stop for a few days.
They can't report you to the police, and most of them know that it isn't as harmful as it's made out to be, so there's no reason not to listen.
would it be feasible to like...cover the tooth socket with your tongue while you smoke?
or am I missing something here
You should be ok if you rinse your mouth afterwards. I think it's more aimed at cigarette smoke as that contains more carcinogenic chemicals.
I'd just play it safe and not smoke for a bit.
Make edibles if have to get high. Or you could just wait a few days and let your tolerance go down.

Oh yeah, Fire crackers are the best right?

I think he should find another way rather than smoking, because of all the tar and shit.
Firecrackers are the way to go :D

Well, one of the easiest methods but they still work great.

Most doctors nowa days seem to be handing out numbing doses of Ibuprofen in horse pill sizes instead of the abuse prone Vicodin or oxy.

All you really have to do is keep bitching about the pain until they give you some percocets.
I got my wisdom teeth pulled a couple weeks ago and I got oxycodone.
Mine are starting to bother me and Im going in for a dental checkup soon, so Ill probably be getting them out. How many percs or vikes do they usually prescribe for a wisdom teeth pulling?
hopefully atleast a 40 bottle

they gave me 40 t3's when i got my nose broken and it didn't even hurt
Hey guys the doctor told me to stop smoking a few days should I smoke while these few days?
Seriously..
Smoke it and then clean your teeth with tooth paste.
I don't see where is the problem.

Aside from the hole in his mouth that can get infected?
the dentist gave me this syringe thing that i'm supposed to fill with salt water to flush out where i'm teething. I'm sure if you were to ask a dentist for one you could get it. Would definitely help
or just gargle with salt water?
[editline]05:49PM[/editline]
what's the difference?

It's not like he will get infected instantly the moment smoke gets inside?

well if you gargle you can't shoot out water with pressure right into it.
As long as you clean out your mouth after you smoke you will be fine.
Just don't get high and forget...
good point, but surely bathing it in salt water will do a lot more than shooting a jet of it?
the pressure of the water forces out any food bits left in the gums. Gargling isn't as efficient
mm, you're correct. thanks for that.
If you still have a fresh, open socket where your tooth was, you are at risk for developing a dry socket.
You really, really don't want this. If you have to smoke, maybe cover the socket with gauze or something to protect it from the smoke.
