It's a goal of music collectors to gather the entire discographies of their favourite bands, so let's share which ones we have.
For content's sake, let's call a complete discography all the studio albums, so not live albums/compilations. However if you have all of those too, feel free to say.
As for me, I have:
Alice In Chains (4)
Editors (3)
Elliot Minor (2)
Jeff Buckley (2)
Mastodon (4)
Muse (5)
Paul Cusick (1)
Rammstein (6)
Scars On Broadway (1)
Serj Tankian (2 + 1 Live)
Sunrise Avenue (2)
Systen of a Down (5)
And I'm currently in the process of building up Pink Floyd + Queen.
So post your complete discographies.
Cool discography there mate. What are Sunrise Avenue like, by the way? I've heard about them, but I've never actually heard any of their music.
Anyway, this is my current discography:
Coldplay (4)
The Coral (3)
The Cribs (2)
Editors (3)
Elbow (1)
Florence & the Machine (1)
Foo Fighters (1)
Franz Ferdinand (3)
The Fratellis (2)
The Futureheads (1)
Gorillaz (2)
Hard-Fi (2)
The Hoosiers (2)
Kaiser Chiefs (3)
Kasabian (3)
Keane (3)
The Killers (3)
Kings of Leon (1)
Klaxons (1)
Lostprophets (2)
Manic Street Preachers (6)
The Mars Volta (1)
Mumford & Sons (1)
Muse (5)
The National (1)
Nine Inch Nails (2)
Oasis (1)
Orson (1)
The Pigeon Detectives (2)
Radiohead (1)
The Rapture (1)
The Script (1)
Snow Patrol (3)
Stereophonics (6)
The Strokes (1)
System of a Down (2)
White Lies (1)
Gonna get a lot more soon hopefully, including Amorphis and Aphex Twin.
Striving to get entire VINYL discographies of Marvin Gaye (10), Stevie Wonder(12), George Harrison(4) and Bob Dylan (13).
The latter being the most difficult, but almost done the others :smug:
Guess we're talking about the physical albums as opposed to digital. Because that'd take too long.
Complete:
Muse (5)
Lily Allen (2)
Fleet Foxes (1)
The Ting Tings (1)
The Postal Service (1)
Jónsi & Alex (1)
Will probably get the second Kate Nash and Dear and the Headlights albums eventually since they're both pretty great.

Sunrise Avenue are pop-y and I hate them but I liked one song from their second album ("Bad") so I put both their albums on my PC anyway.
CiLiCe(1) :v:
I don't really collect music, I just buy the albums I really really like.
Only full discography I have is Pink Floyd. I almost have every Yes album, too.
It's annoying that some of the bands I would want to have complete discographies of wouldn't really be worth it (like Genesis, Metallica, Iron Maiden etc.), because some of their albums are terrible.
I really don't have many, but my complete discographies are:
- Sonata Arctica (6 + 1 Live)
- Serj Tankian (2)
- System of a Down (5)
- Sabaton (5)
I also have decent-sized collections, but not full discographies, of...
- Blind Guardian (5 / 9)
- In Flames (5 / 9)
I don't have any full discographies in physical form (with the exception of Serj Tankian, which doesn't really count since there's only 2), I used to buy a lot from iTunes / Amazon.

Wait, so you want discographies just for the sake of having them? I don't understand.
Also, Iron Maiden don't have any terrible albums. :colbert:

As an avid fan of certain bands, it would be nice to own all their albums, as a collection. However that's kind of pointless if some of the albums by a certain band aren't very good.
[sp]The Blaze years[/sp]
The X Factor was okay. Virtual XI was pretty bad though, wasn't it
[editline]06:07PM[/editline]
And I guess I get what you're saying, I do like collections
I have
Megadeth
LaRoux
Black Label Society
Soundgarden
Audioslave
and RHCP
Physical albums (cd, vinyl, etc) (EPs included)
Aphex Twin - 9
Autechre - 14
Meat Beat Manifesto - 12
The Orb - 6
Nine Inch Nails - 16 (found a lot in various bargain bins)
[editline]07:57PM[/editline]
The National - 4 on vinyl, 1 on cd
Counts include everything, not just studio
Iron Maiden (24) - All the studio albums, most of the live ones, some of the more obscure things like "Virus", "Ed Hunter" or some of the BBC archives.
Metallica (14) - All studio albums, S&M, and Garage Inc. Their live stuff is generally worthless, though, so I don't bother looking for it.
Megadeth (11) - I think I have all their studio albums (the remasters, not originals). No live stuff though
Dragonforce (5) - all studio albums. No live stuff.
Nobuo Uematsu (54, not including collaborations, including the Black Mages) - About halfway there. Still need quite a bit of his early stuff, and I haven't gotten the FF14 OST yet, either. Still, 50 hours ought to count for something, right?
[QUOTE=Teto;25095032]
Jónsi & Alex (1)[/QUOTE]
Don't they have just that one album?
[editline]08:43PM[/editline]

Jeff Buckley (2)
[/QUOTE]
Wow, thats great.
He released one studio album then died. Great discography dude :smug:
I don't buy much because I can't find anything I like in the record stores here. :v: I have to order everything off the internet pretty much...
But I have bought a few albums:
one from The Hives (The Black And White Album, I think it's called),
one from Avenged Sevenfold, Self Titled I think
And I got a Bad Religion CD for christmas a few years ago
And the Billy Talent live CDs,
can't think of anything else. I haven't bought anything in a while, I don't even listen to these bands much anymore.
I ordered Desperate Living by HORSE the band a while ago though, can't wait to get it.
I like collecting an artist's discography, but the only artists I've actually completed are 3 Inches of Blood (4) and Daft Punk (3). I'm trying to get every Buckethead studio album, got 21 out of 28 so far. I think.
[QUOTE=Stizzles;25110391]HORSE the band[/QUOTE]

Grace and Mystery White Boy. People have included live albums in their counts.
I have Jeff Buckley's discography too :buddy:
Meh...
I think Grace will do me just fine as it is all I need. Managed to grab an original copy quite cheaply on vinyl. Very rare :v:
His live stuff is amazing, but the videos are more worth watching than listening to the live albums.
Let's see...
Opeth
Iron Maiden
Slayer
Megadeth
Sonata Arctica
Burzum
Ayreon
Mastodon
Gojira
Alcest
Nevermore
Motorhead
Led Zeppelin
Kyuss
Electric Wizard
Katatonia
Kamelot
In Flames
Insomnium
Iced Earth
Hypocrisy
Eluveitie
Korpiklaani
Finntroll
Dream Theater
Dissection
Rotting Christ
Death
Carcass
Black Sabbath
Agalloch
Muse
Sirenia
Summoning
Wolves In The Throne Room
Draconian
Think that's all the discographies I have. Not counting bands with only 1 album out.
Not including bands with one album out.
System of a Down (5) Don't listen to them anymore, but it is still complete.
Opeth (9, 10 if you include the live album) The first 3 albums are in a box set, but I would still count it as full.
Both of these are all on CD
Nearly full would be.
Wolves In the Throne Room (3/4) Just missing the first album.. 2 CDs, 1 Vinyl.
