what if there were only robots and they only had other robots to fight? it would be just like a comic book I used to read
what if there were only robots and they only had other robots to fight? it would be just like a comic book I used to read
Then it would be a massive waste of resources and one might as well play quake 3 or CSGO over the dispute.
The human race does a fine job of killing themselves as is, we don't need robots taking that position too
Then it would be a massive waste of resources and one might as well play quake 3 or CSGO over the dispute.
yeah but it's already a massive waste of resources and at least when it's all robots it's pretty cool to watch and nobody dies
Silly media, robots cannot truly (yet) decide when to actually attack the target without confirmation from a human being. Such a difficult choice would demand numerous variables to be considered, a task that's currently too difficult to even put down on paper, much less programing.
I think that people are generally more supportive of wars the further they are distanced from them and the less casualties they cause to the friendly side, the casualties among the enemy populace seem to be of much less concern. It is well that war is too terrible, otherwise we would grow too fond of it and so on.

wow if they wanted to encourage people to act against battlefield robots they could have used something that didn't look like your archetypical 50's android
They should just recruit every SWAT 4, Hitman and Deus Ex player that took the least-lethal route throughout the game and put them behind the controls of these robots.
Why not just play video games and solve disputes to whoever wins?
I don't get it, are they implying that humans killing other humans is moral?
I don't get it, are they implying that humans killing other humans is moral?
this is some Onion-level stuff here
They should just recruit every SWAT 4, Hitman and Deus Ex player that took the least-lethal route throughout the game and put them behind the controls of these robots.
But then I would never get to control them.
