• Picture Perfect Irony

Me and my friend just finished eating McDonald's and proceeded to leave the parking lot and get back onto the highway. While waiting in traffic for the car ahead of us to go, we talked about how my car was backed into the first time. Eventually, our conversation ended and as I looked forward and the car ahead of me backed straight into my car. It was picture perfect irony at its best. It was funny at the time, but now it sucks ass. Especially since the damn airhead that backed into my car more than likely doesn't have insurance. So Friday if I don't get any word on insurance info, I get to file a police report. So what would you have done, laughed or bitched them out, I'm kind of curious.
Bitched first, laughed later.
That's a coincidence.
Did they have any excuse? Or were they just like "Whoops sorry brah".
That's a coincidence.
I guess it is, but if you had heard our conversation before it, you'd understand a bit more of how it was ironic. So you got me there.
Did they have any excuse? Or were they just like "Whoops sorry brah".
Not really, they weren't even supposed to be driving it since they were high school students driving a rental car. So they pretty much panicked and tried to figure out how they were going to break it to their mom, which was kind of funny.
In virginia it's a law that you have car insurance
wow, that's.. i saw that happen today at a mcdonalds
In virginia it's a law that you have car insurance
I think it's the same in Georgia too. At least I want to say it is. I should have just walked back over to McDonald's, there was literally two or three Police officers eating there just before we left.
This is not irony in the slightest. It's coincidence. Irony would be if you and your friend were just coming back from a "safe driving" seminar.
what state are you in haxor

the blue, duh!
That's not irony. Just a coincidence. I wish someone on here would actually deliver when they say they have a story of irony.
It deserved a thread
how is this ironing?
Killed him. Or smashed him up until he buys me another big mac.
I would get out and beat the shit out of him for wrecking my brand new car.
why would you say that's picture perfect irony when it's not even irony at all in the slightest, you don't know what irony is, that's not ironic it's coincidental
I would laugh first in most cases, then get bitchy if they didn't pay, but since they were high schoolers, I'd defiantly have reported it.
I was watching TV once, and a general mills cereal commercial came on(they make all the sugary cereals like lucky charms and trix and stuff), and the commercial after it was a liberty medical diabetes commercial. It was glorious.
Make them pay for the repair of your car, then turn them in to the police after! :D
Wouldn't it be funny if this thread was locked later today for being a fast thread? bahah yeah right. it would be soooo ironic if that actually happened!
Sucks
I would get out and beat the shit out of him for wrecking my brand new car.
Well, mine wasn't new. I don't think 12+ years is new. Still, the temptation to rough'em up was there.
I would laugh first in most cases, then get bitchy if they didn't pay, but since they were high schoolers, I'd defiantly have reported it.
What I think is really gonna bone them if they can't pay, is the fact that she was never supposed to drive the rental car in the first place.
Make them pay for the repair of your car, then turn them in to the police after! :D
If they can't pay, then I will go to the police. Probably end up in small claims court where she'll also be tagged with not having her insurance.
Sucks
It does my friend, it does.
Wouldn't it be funny if this thread was locked later today for being a fast thread? bahah yeah right. it would be soooo ironic if that actually happened!
I don't think this is a fast thread. Fast threads tend to be "Post your monkey" or "What's your favorite X?".
That wasn't really perfect irony.
How do you even drive that badly
Situation irony: the opposite happens then what is expected. Dramatic irony: the audience knows something the character doesn't and that will lead to situational irony.
man thats picture perfect ironing
