I like how they compare Invisible Inc so much to XCOM, yet they don't even bother to include XCOM itself. The game isn't even resource heavy, you can easily squeeze out at the very least 30 fps on old machines.

Eufloria is also a good low performance game
Binding of Isaac is perfect for laptops. Small filesize, great performance, easy to pick up and play for a few minutes.
