Want to kick off a thread regarding SFX for games. I doubt many of you actively partake in this interest, however I feel I should share some of my stuff for those of you who are interested. Here is my blog which I post about the way I create sounds and how I try to find innovative ways to express my audio ideas within a game world. www.tomwrightsound.com Enjoy!
Those are some nice sounds indeed.
This reminds me of when I tried to make some SFX just for fun, I threw dog barking sounds into a vocoder and it came very close to sounding like an alien grunt talking aggressive.

Nice to see a fellow sfx guy  I've always enjoyed foley and sfx alike and always wanted to go all out and buy a nice mic/sfx software. Keep up the good work, your stuff sounds great.
Awesome work. Out of curiosity, what mic are you using there on your blog?
@Milkyway, thanks! :) Have you got any SFX stuff online? I'd love to have a look! @Paddy, For most of my recordings I use a Rode NTG-2 with their wind-shield and pistol grip (blog pic). I have that connected to my Zoom h4n. Sometimes I use my Rode NT1-A for studio use because it's a less noisy microphone and has a wider sound pickup width (i really should know the technical term..).

I still love doing it though.

I've used them quite a bit in the past with filming. Great out on location, even in the harshest of conditions. And yes, the NT1-A is much more fitted for confined studio spaces. Keep up the awesome work dude. Hope to see more stuff! A lot of Audio Technica mics are dropping in price... take a look around.
