Gaming statistics - Anyone else curious as to how true they are?

I've been wondering about this for a while now. It seems like a lot people just take each others words that, oh statistics show that console has no hackers or pirated games, without any actual factual numbers. I was curious as to where people are pulling these statistics from and decided to analyze it myself instead. I know that a persons perspective can be heavily be skewed if they only run into hackers, because to them it will seem like their only exist hackers in a game even if its like 3 hackers in all of the games existent. The persistence of them in their games matters just as much as quantity. I want see how this relates with real world stats. So I made a google form to collect information regarding this and I am trying to get a decent enough size to look at it more, because personally we all know those statements of "Console gamers never hack or pirate anything" are false. I know a ton of people who pirated and hacked their wii, psp, and etc, so personally I am just trying to have real proof to prove to others why those statements are flawed.
