It seems like games are always getting delayed. Maybe whenever games are announced I should expect them to come out ~4 months later than given date.
Is anyone even excited for this game? I saw some gameplay of it and I was thoroughly unimpressed.

The alpha left me with a bad taste in my month. The game is in an actual pre-alpha state, which is probably why it's being delayed so long. The gameplay is very one dimensional and repetitive. Rounds were way too short (~4/5 mins) and it felt like an overglorified tank battle (L4D). Once you got a feel of the small maps and gameplay tactics it becomes disinteresting.

Yeah, it was honestly quite shallow really. The bulk of the gameplay is literally just running and following the glowing blue track marks on the ground until eventually you manage to catch up with the monster for about a minute long fight unless it manages to get away. Then its a few more minutes of running before another fight. During all the running, there is really nothing to do except occasionally jump around, or maybe choose to shoot some of the ambient life that by and large poses no threat. It did not impress to say the least.

Probably the the best thing about it was the atmosphere. The environments were at least somewhat interesting.

Haven't actually played it but from the footage I've seen it does look like a cut down version of L4D. I doubt the final product will be much interesting to be honest. Even with all the different monsters they promise the actual gameplay lacks depth. L4D had you going through campaign maps and fight bosses, here you're just kinda shooting a boss.
"2K Games"
wait this isn't an indie game?
My care for it just went down even more.
The Concept is Interesting but i wish they'd stop pushing it as a E-Sport type game because its really not.
It seems competitive though.
Keep in mind this is Turtle Rock Studios developing the game.
This is fine with me, more time with Master Chief Collection!

They should drop the whole esports thing altogether. I feel it kinda butts into design too much, making it meh. The game itself doesn't even look like it'd fit into esports at all. Asymmetric player counts rarely work for esports. I dont think I've seen a single game like that in esports scene.
