My moms friend decided to upgrade her computer and asked me to build one. She's mostly going to be doing word processing, internet, rosetta stone, and a little photoshop. She has all the software, a wireless mouse, keyboard, monitor, and OS.
Any suggestions?

I can pretty much guarantee that she would somehow be confused with it, and eventually complain to me that it's too small.
it will do fine for what she is doing hell it is perfect, just enable GPU acceleration and photoshop will run smoothly
I know that the computer itself is perfect for her, but the computer she's replacing was her first computer ever, and she got it a week ago. Since then I've been her tech guy for setting everything up just because I'm charging her way less then anyplace around here, and I know that she won't like how small it is.
tell her size doesn't matter, it's how you use it.
then tell her again, and make her know you're serious

Use the good old intel and nvidia marketing signs
Either way I just saw "ETA:10/30/2009 " She needs it within the next two weeks at most.
es muy homo
So should I go with the build that was up there?

You mind takeing a Screen shot (Print screen and copy and paste to paint then go to Photobucket)
So she keeps calling me asking if I have a build for her. Can somebody just tell me if that one will work? I told her the price and she said that it's good enough.

That's fine.
You might want to get a S-ATA dvd drive though just to keep everything up-to-date.
[editline]11:24AM[/editline]
Also shitty PSU company
What would you recommend that's still in the same price range? It's at $250 now, plus $30 shipping, and I'm charging her to build it of course so she's at around $300 and that's pushing it for her.
To be honest, all the stuff she's doing will be fine with a Jihad brand PSU, as the system won't draw anywhere near enough to make it want dem virgins.
