• Building a new PC, opinion on parts

Okay so I already have the CPU, Mobo, and GPU. Here's a list of all the parts:
CPU: A6-3650 CPU COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 212 MOTHERBOARD: a75ma-g55 RAM: Corsair Vengence 8gb DDR3 STORAGE: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB GPU: GTX 550TI CASE: Prodigy M POWER SUPPLY: Corsair CX 500W OPTICAL DRIVE: LG UH12NS29 Blu-Ray Reader, DVD/CD Writer MONITER: Asus VS238H-P 23.0" Monitor WIRELESS NETWORK ADAPTER: Asus PCE-AC68
And here's a part picker link, everything checked for compatibility: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3Q4kC Basically My budget is $800 and what I have now I think is pretty good, but if you guys can think of anything more cost efficient let me know.
Are you really going to store your data with a single SSD?
I have that PCE-AC68 and I would recommend not using the asus drivers, but just downloading the broadcom drivers. The asus drivers are very very bad. Also the drivers I got with the cd did not work, I had to download the latest ones from asus to get it to even turn on, but later switched to the broadcom drivers as the asus connectivity program they supply is a buggy mess and are very unnecessary.
Are you really going to store your data with a single SSD?
This isn't really going to be a gaming PC, so I don't need to worry about massive games being on it. This is more of a spare PC that I'm building with old parts I have. Plus, I plan on getting more storage later on, I just need something to hold windows and a couple of small things for now.
That's a pretty bad cpu and gpu, did you just buy them? Also the 840 pro is actually weaker than the 840 evo. I hope you're not seriously considering spending $100 on a wifi card haha. Also that case is way overpriced and that monitor has a horrible stand and a crappy TN panel. In fact, your budget was so bad you could actually buy everything you need AND a much better gpu. Anyway the GPU, CPU, and motherboard are old parts I have, and even though they're pretty weak I don't really think I need to buy new ones, if I can save the money. Thanks for all this! Sorry I'm not good at this and had to make you do all that work...
For some reason I enjoy doing this, I got nothing better to do here anyways. I would recommend going with the cpu build and getting the i3 4150 instead of the i5. It'll put you under $700 and it's totally worth it over the shitty a6 you have right now.
Oh also, I'm aware the case is over priced but I've been eying it for a while and would love to have one :P
We all have no lives, so all you're doing by posting on here is keeping me from doing useless shit with my computer.
I'd recommend this for basic use http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3QYTe [editline]26th May 2014[/editline]
That's a pretty bad cpu and gpu, did you just buy them? You've obviously already proven you have no real idea regarding computer hardware, you should really stop posting here until you educate yourself and/ or grow up. I can see why your parents didn't trust you to be competent enough to build your own computer.
