Calling it now. The game either won't be finished or it will just suck.
I really don't like how they've done this. They've announced stretch goals 6 days before the end of the Kickstarter, and they're mostly extremely high goals that the game has no chance at all of reaching. I could see it perhaps getting to the British forces, but even that seems a bit far. There's just no way this is going to get 12 times the initial goal.
Their reasons for taking so long with them don't seem to make much sense either, they've put lots of effort into actually working on those things despite there being a fairly high chance they won't even be put into the game. That just seems like it'll likely have been a waste of time, they could have instead just announced the goals earlier which would have made them more likely to be reached.
I think they've done it completely the wrong way. It's disappointing to have goals that would be great to see added when there's hardly any chance of them.
This game didn't look like it was anything to be excited for anyway.
The playermodels look fucking bad tbh, they don't look professional, tells you alot about the quality of their stuff. I'm a huge WW2 enthusiast but this is a game I'm not getting.
I realized the trailer they've made for this is also a bit misleading. It mentions there are stretch goals, but it doesn't mention at all that the British and Russian forces seen in that trailer are two of them, so people might think that they're already part of the game.
Yeah, £1.2m of funding for game that'll end up with a single player
