The devs had their hearts in the right place. I feel for them.
gonna be funny if they patched it out
it's reported on at least, word got out and that's really what to be thankful for
These are also apparently the names of the Wondering Soldiers you can find in MGSV.
It is a sad state of affairs when you have to allude to absolutely hating where you work, working with something you've always loved and seeing it being morphed and robbed of its former glory right before your eyes. Fuck Konami
A little bit like Marc Laidlaw's Epistle 3

Nah, Valve letting Half Life die was incompetence, not malice.
Meanwhile Konami has the resources to literally destroy people's careers on a whim. Even Kojima is having issues to this day due to Konami, even if Death Stranding is the hot shit.
Big thing is, he and his new KojiPro are basically reliant on Sony's protection to be able to continue doing business in Japan. Under Konami's influence, several Japanese companies refuse to do business with KojiPro (Be it development outsourcing, insurance, or other things), so a significant amount of their operations have to go through Sony under Sony's name. That and I've heard that KojiPro's offices are regularly harassed by Yakuza thugs (Well, more than other businesses).
Call me back when Valve has the Gambino Family smashing the windows of their former employees who left because Half Life was dead.

How was letting Half-Life 3 die incompetence? One could argue that developing it would be incompetence from a business standpoint considering how much money they make just sitting on their ass and how much time that would waste that could be spent developing games that can have micro-transactions in them instead.

Because they did try to develop it, multiple times.
Holy shit, someone noticed another message in this as well.
The initials at the top, M, and G, with "KIA" on the far side of the list next to them.
"MG KIA"
