This looks almost identical to a locked thread I saw a while back.
It still questions me why it was locked...
Fuck yes, I love Muse.
Nice thread. I saw Muse on December 9th and they were great. :)
Jesus Christ, Facepunch listens to good music.
Make a Mars Volta thread, and then I might think you guys are worth something.
']Agreed. *points to avatar*
I like the way you think sir
Take a cigar
I heard Combinations of Mars Volta and Muse. I like them Both, so its okay.
Any word on their new album?
Decent guys but they really need to work on a reunion of the band like Led Zepplin :P
Some one told me that they added more notes to give Something that people could Dance to.

I like Muse, but I haven't for long
.
In fact, I think it was Guitar Hero that made me seek them out and get into them a bit. I find a fair bit of their playlist is very 'skippable' but their good songs are really good.
I hope this Muse thread doesn't die like the rest have...
I remember shortly after I made a Muse megathread I found a thread with tons of Youtube Muse videos. I can't find it in search, so it's probably in the archives.
By the way, I love Muse. I have exactly 100 Muse songs on my iPod (I admit two are crappy remixes :( ), and own every album (including Hullaballoo). I don't have all the singles, but I have the songs from them.
Also, for Muse fans who've already listened to a lot of Muse and want to hear some of the cooler songs they've done, I recommend looking for the song Futurism, Con-Science, Pink Ego Box, or Do We Need This. Their House Of The Rising Sun cover is good too, though definitely very loud.
Muse are good, just no where near as good as radiohead, not trying to start anything but listen to more than just 'creep' by them first.
According to wikipedia:
Bellamy confirmed that he has begun to work on a new album and new songs, some more in line with electronic or "dance music" and others more with classical or symphonic music.
Hmmmm, a bit like Radiohead with Kid A/ amnesiac. I hope it turns out well for them.
Ahem <<<
I'm proud to say I was born in Rotherham. Also my mum's, cousin's, work colleague is the cousin of Chris. No shit.
I saw them at Wembley Stadium...i literally bum them...the fucking best band EVER to have graced this planet. Matt Bellamy is a GOD.
Muse as far as I know fucking rocks.
Knights of Cydonia is a kick-ass song, and I love the "Map of the Problematique" song.
I should get their Black Holes CD :)
Here is Knights of Cydonia and Map of the Problematique:

Its very true. Matthew Bellamy Is God.
He is my Idol!
Next to George Romero.
Citizen erased and assassin are my favorite songs by them.
I think we should make these threads about more obscure bands, Muse is kind of popular and I know a ton of people who like them. They're a great band, though.

Arctic monkeys!
I saw them a year ago at the SECC in Glasgow. Best gig I've ever been too.
Map of the Problematique is epic.
I never really listened to them for the longest time. Then I played Knights of Cydonia on GH 3 and absolutely loved it. You have any reccommendations on a first album to get?
Didn't JetBoom use one of their songs for Racehook? If anyone remembers that, can they get a name for the song?
I do remember it had a nylon guitar, piano, electric guitar and some kind of gothic choir/synth sound. I'm not sure what it actually is.
