Hello.
I just downloaded the Doom Classic Pack from STEAM and installed Ultimate Doom, Final Doom and Doom II. I see people who still play Doom use special programs that add support for 1080p resolutions, Anti-Aliasing, Dynamic Lights and all the types of graphical options you'd expect in a game made nowadays.
I Googled for some of the programs and there seems to be a large number of them like, GZDoom, Zandronum, Doom Legacy and so on.
The question I'm asking is which Doom program is the one that has the most features and support, easy to use and has video options that are expanded upon, ect, ect.
Thanks.
I use GZDoom.

It's feature rich.
For multiplayer I use Odamex.

GZDoom or ZDoom are generally the most popular source ports for Doom. For multiplayer though Zandronum (previously Skulltag) is. It's based off GZDoom's code base but take up to 6 months to update its GZDoom code base when GZDoom updates. There's also Doomsday like Hell-met mentioned which serves the same general purpose as ZDoom or GZDoom but isn't quite as commonly used and there's things such as Chocolate Doom which tries to exactly replicate the original style just with updated resolutions and such.

I'll download that and see how it goes.
Thanks.
also get one of the versions of zdl or qzdl
they make it easier to run multiple wads and pk3s at once if you want to do that sort of thing

That'll come in handy. Thanks.
gzdoom or zdoom
Also, if you're savvy enough with command line perimeters, you won't really need Zandronum, since you'd be able to play some WADs that require newer zdoom features that Zandronum lacks. Sure, it's difficult as hell, but LANning Aeons of Death is totally worth it.
