Fast Girls (Metro International Films) won the prize for best photography at the 14th Pyongyang International Film Festival (PIFF)[/B]
The British Ambassador to North Korea, Mike Gifford, accepted the award on behalf of the film’s producers.
PIFF took place between 17 and 24 September. Entries in this year’s festival came from several countries including, Germany, France, Italy, India, China, Russia, Iran and the UK. The British Embassy, Pyongyang, with the assistance of the British Council, arranged for five UK made films to be shown at the festival.
The aim of the festival was to give local audiences the chance to view a selection of modern British cinema and provide a rare opportunity to view creative influences from outside of North Korea.

Presumably the audience is full of the Kims.
Nah, the audience wasn't full of Kims. The audience WAS Kim.
It wasn't The Interview then? Personally I'm shocked.

I can't imagine what it would be like to take a look into modern Western media for the first time. I hope it was eye opening.
Well this is mighty interesting...

Yeah, because The Interview was released in September.

I was making a joke, but fine take it seriously; I'm sure The Interview would have stood a chance had it been released and entered in September.
(Btw the last part of that sentence was another poor joke.)
The only good British film I've ever seen was about that Englishman who went up a hill but came down a mountain or some crazy shit like that. They should have showed that.
