Great Show, shame it's coming to a close. You can tell I'm a fan because of my Dean avatar...
Tonight's episode was kinda interesting...Seeing Castiel pigging out on burgers was kinda funny. Famine, the second Horseman of the Apocalypse, was kinda creepy.
And apperentley we're finally going to see Zombies, or something along that line, in the show next week. Bobby returns and so does his dead wife.
Any thoughts on this show?
Does it have elf rape?
I love this show. I haven't gotten around to watching the past two episodes.
I used to love this show when it was the monster of the week format. I remember watching the pilot episode back when it was first aired.
I dunno but I'm just not enjoying the whole Angels-Demons end of the world story arc.
Yeah, this series is awesome. I look forward to every Thursday.
This is one of my favorite shows.
I am currently at episode 3 of season 5. Too bad it will end
Amazing show. The plot is a little jumbled at times, but it's really interesting.

Nah, but they do kill Paris Hilton by chopping her head off, because she's actually an Ancient Evil Pagan God.

Show started get stupid after the whole "Dean goes to hell, come back, hell vs heaven blah blah"
Actually, I think Supernatural has gotten better every episode. It's one of the only shows I know that got better as the seasons came out.
Someone tell me when it's coming back on the air in Australia. Damn. It hasn't been on for weeks.
I fucking love this show, I'm on season 4 and I hate getting shit spoiled

Why not stream it?
I'm also a huge fan of this show, watched every episode.
One of the best scenes:

Sam and Dean are investigating a couple that apperentley ate each other to death. They go to the Mourge and find that the hearts of the couple have wierd symbols on them, and call in Castiel, who identifies them as Angelic marks indicating that the couple were marked by a Cupid (Which he reveals to be a lower order of Angels, Cherubs) and as such were destined to fall in love and become a couple. Castiel believes that the Cupid has gone rouge and is making the couples "over-love" each other to death.
They go to find the Cupid at a bar, where Castiel shows a fond interest in burgers. They then find the Cupid, which turns out is a jolly fat, naked guy. It turns out that while he did mark the couple, he had nothing to do with their deaths.
Sam discovers that there are demons present in the city.
Castiel shows up again, scarfing down burgers. He's figured out what's really going on: Famine, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocolypse, has apperentley arrived in town. His presence is causing people to over-indulge in things that they hunger for, which explains why Casitel (Or rather, his Vessel, Jimmy) is craving Burgers so much (so much that he's lost count somewhere in the low hundreds. Good thing he's an angel or he would have died of a heart attack...)
Sam's also getting affected, he's starting to hunger for Demon Blood Again. Curoiusly, Dean seems to be unaffected by Famine's presence, in fact it's having a mild opposite effect on him: He's not interested in getting laid or the food he's usually interested in. Castiel and Dean go off to stop Famine by cutting off the ring he wears, (Just like War's Ring) while Sam stays behind so that he's not tempted by feeding on the demons that are working for Famine.
They find that Famine's staying at a burger joint. Cas tries to go in to stop Famine, but gets distracted by a pile of burger meat on the floor. Dean gets Knocked out.
Meanwhile, Sam gets attacked by two demons working for Famine. He ends up losing control and drinks their blood, which re-awakens his demon powers.
Famine taunts Dean and talks about how he loves the way people in hte modern world always want more. He also says the reason why Dean isn't affected by his presence is because Dean is "Already dead inside".
Sam comes in. Famine reveals he sent his minions to Sam so that he could charge him full of demon powers again, so that he was ready for when Lucifer takes him as his vessel. He offers his other minions as a snack.
Instead of drinking their blood, however, Sam exorcises all of them. Famine eats the demons, not wanting them to go to waste. Sam then apperently tries to kill him using his powers, but Famine then says that his abilities will not work on a Horseman. Sam reveals that he's not using his powers on him, but the demons that he ate. Sam uses them to rip famine apart from the inside out, finally killing him.
The episode ends with Sam back in Bobby's vault so that the Demon Blood can work its way out of his system. Dean goes outside, and in desperation starts praying, asking for help.
I think the chemistry behind the two actors is awesome. They work really well together.
Last episode was really good too.
I miss the whole hunting monsters part of the show. I understand that the Apocalypse is here now but they should of done more monster hunting.

Yeah, those were good times, I can still remember the 2nd episode where they killed the Wendigo with a flare gun.
But I still am interested in the Apocalypse story arc. After all, this is what it was really all about since the beginning...
2nd season would have to be my favorite.
I used to watch season 1-3 all the time and my parents would get pissed off due to hearing the same thing over and over lol.

To me, supernatural was all about the monster hunting. I guess they didn't want it to get stale though since I'm sure the monster hunting would've gotten pretty old if they'd have just kept doing it every season.
I miss the "oh fuck" feeling I got when demons were actually something hard to defeat. Now they're just as common as the old ghosts they used to hunt, there's no "holy fuck" feeling anymore because the show lacks new things that would quickly defeat Sam and Dean. I'm not saying this makes the show bad in any way, I'm just saying I wish they would add something else that even the winchesters could be afraid of.

Anyone else feel this way?

Yes! I agree with you 100%.
If you actually search the monsters up like a Striga (bad spelling?) or Wendigo you can actually find some pretty interesting information on wikipedia. I think I spent an whole afternoon once just searching them up.
I love that show. i have the complete 1st season and i need to watch the rest. ive seen bits and pieces of the others but i heard it got really good.
I miss the "oh fuck" feeling I got when demons were actually something hard to defeat.
I remember the first time they had a Demon on the show, it was the one with the airplane, remember that? I remember actually shivering that episode.
I agree that the demons aren't as creepy anymore, mostly due to the fact that they're everywhere in the show now...
But, as I've said before, I'm still interested in the show. And I do want to know how how it all works out for the Winchester Brothers in the end.
This shows really misogynist, I mean all the women they meet are evil or die.
