So is the Combined Arms simulator worth getting by itself?
hnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggg yessss sales
Was wondering when this would go on sale yesterday as I just ordered myself new joystick today this is awesome. Is the huey doable with just a twist joystick as ruddle control and throttle. Without using rudder pedals. Dyslexyis video tells me that having rudder pedals are really bare mininum to flying these things.
I just bought DCS Huey for $24.99 on the ED site sale a few days ago, and now it's $14.99 for steam. :suicide:

Guys recommend me a DLC to buy

Definitely doable. [editline]17th September 2014[/editline]
Guys recommend me a DLC to buy
A-10C is a good start c:
Guys recommend me a DLC to buy
Flaming Cliffs 3 is a good entry into the game. You get 6 planes, although only really 3-4 of them are worth your time to learn to use. F-15, MiG-29 and Su-27/Su-33. With this, you can learn how the Air-to-Air missile mechanics work, and it will allow you to become much more survivable when you learn how to really use the attacker jets (like the A-10C or Su-25T) properly. From there, getting used to the Su-25T is a good start for learning Air-to-Ground, as the mode is free. But being that the camera for the frogfoot can only look dead ahead, it is very difficult to find targets and you lose camera lock once you fly past. This is where the A-10C really shines. With the Litening II wing-mounted camera pod, you can always keep an eye on the target area, and it will generally allow you to spot a lot more hostiles with much greater efficiency.
