About: With their collective eye focused on retrieving a cache of hidden money, three convicts (George Clooney, John Turturro and Tim Blake Nelson) break out of jail in Depression-era Mississippi and embark on an epic journey that bears more than a few similarities to Homer's Odyssey. Along the way, they fast-talk their way out of jams, sidestep alluring riverside sirens and record a hit country song as the Soggy Bottom Boys.

I fucking love this movie.
"do NOT seek the treasure!"
"we though you was a toad!"

"we though you was a toad!"
"... do NOT seek the treasure!"
No need for spoiler tags, it's been close to a decade now.
One of my favorite movies, especially the final scene with the dam breaking.

Everett is mine, because he reminds me of me.
"Color guard is colored!"

Yet another hilarious line from the film. Probably one of my favorite parts of the movie.
Holy crap, I remember this movie. It had me cracking up every time, I love how one of them would constantly be greasing up his hair. OP deserved hearts, I thought I was the only person who watched it over and over :v:
I'm planning on renting this soon. The Coen Brothers never churned out a bad film.
Music in this movie is fantastic, still love listening to it today. Favorite line would have to be "Well i'll be a son-of-a-bitch....Delmar gone been saved."
Thread music.

I love how George Clooney's character always says "how's my hair" whenever he wakes up.

I love this film.
George Clooney was perfect for this role.
I think everyone should see this film no matter how old they are. It's perfect for everyone.
Delmar O'Donnell: You work for the railroad, Grampa?
Blind Seer: I work for no man.
Delmar O'Donnell: Got a name, do you?
Blind Seer: I have no name.
Ulysses Everett McGill: Well, that right there may be the reason you've had difficulty findin' gainful employment.
