Oh boy, can't wait for the new conspiracy theories.
Shitty as this footage is (granted it's from ten years ago & the camera seems sub-par) watching it was still haunting. I wonder what'll come of this.
Can't believe the 10th anniversary is coming up soon...
You know, I remember watching this happen on the television when I was 8 years old and being so utterly confused as to why it was happening, and why all those people had to die. Now 10 years on, I'm 18 and through the war in the middle east that has claimed more lives than the attack itself, a mountain of political justifications, islamophobia, fundamentalism and unbridled hatred I still don't understand why those people had to die. The world is tearing itself apart and I don't know why.

I can't believe its been almost 10 years. These videos and stories still affect me deeply, especially the ones aired on the 9/11 anniversaries on the history channel. It all just seems so surreal.
I remember when I was a little selfish shit and wondered why this had to happen on my birthday.
I remember being let out of school, I was 6 or 7 and didn't know what the fuck was going on.
I remember being in the 7th grade in my geography class when my principle instructed us to turn our TVs on in class. I remember the next hour being gym, and some kids were crying because they had families in New York and they didn't know if they were affected.
I remember I was pissed off that they canceled Recess on the tv to talk about it.
Recess was the shit.
I ain't even mad.
10 years ago and it feels like yesterday [editline]7th March 2011[/editline] my dad used to ride on planes a lot, and back when this happened (i was 6) i only thought there was one plane in the world. guess how freaked out i got when i saw this happen on air
It still pains me to watch. There are so many little fucks that make jokes about 9/11 too. Disgusting.
Oh America, even though you fuck us...I still love you.
I remember I was pissed off that they canceled Recess on the tv to talk about it.
I remember being in math, 3rd grade, and being so confused why the adults were freaking out. It seemed like at the time that the teacher just randomly put on the TV and started freaking out. [editline]7th March 2011[/editline] I had family in the towers on 9/10 too, pretty scary.

Eerie. Not much else to say. I have a feeling in my gut that some conspiracy nuts are going to point out that the cops weren't freaking out when they saw it, while trying to relate it to them being connected to some huge plot with the government, etc etc.
I remember this like it was just yesterday. I live in Australia so I saw it on the TV in the early hours of the morning when I was 11. I remember going to school that same day and everyone talking about it. Is there a reason why the towers falling is cut out in almost all footage of 9/11?

Why did this have to happen? For any reason, it is still sickening.
I think because tons of people were jumping out, and it's just a bad thing to see. I'm not sure though.
That happened from just after the first plane hit to the collapses. Approximately 200 people jumped.

I wish... As nice as the..*sigh* Freedom Tower is...the NYC skyline isn't the same without the towers. 9/11 makes me sad not because "HUR AMERICER GOT HURT" but because thousands of innocent PEOPLE died. It shows that religious extremists cant adapt to modern society.
:patriot: On a side note, why is it that during every tragedy someone recording has a really bad camera.
