Which USA state is best for international student?

California, Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, New York or Texas? Discuss living costs and stuff, thanks
I really only know about the Colorado schools since I was only looking at them when I was planning to go out of state.
Colorado has a pretty well balanced public schooling system. CU is a very liberal school that offers a lot of engineering and aerospace programs (10+ astronauts). CU also generally gets scored better in most university grades than other Colorado schools. CSU is the land grant university in the state and gets preferential treatment from the board of regents. CSU is well known for having the US #1 agricultural programs and many of the better science programs. Both schools are also located in thier own communities outside of Denver. Generally the cost for undergrads is about $32k/year.
Nix anything on the coast or too far down south.

You meant tuition fees only?

No. This covers your dorm, tuition and meal plans. The cost can go up or down depending on those factors, but this is the average cost reported for both universities for out of state tuitions..
What are you trying to study in? That is one of the huge factors in deciding where to go for international.

Southern California has the best climate, and there's lots of tourist attractions and things. Plus, we have homosexuals and wine. Might be a little expensive though, depending on where you go. If you stick to North County just above San Diego, the price is good without sacrificing the experience! I think you would find New York (presumably New York City) to be an extremely overwhelming experience if you're new to the country. Not to mention, it's fucking expensive. I wouldn't recommend Texas, either. It's a terrible climate.
You can stay at my place c:
Sounds like a perfect place for me
Texas
I'm at Berkeley in Northern Cal. The UC system is probably trying to cut yet more funding, but the school itself is still a great place with a lot of opportunities, right next to San Francisco (awesome city). If not Northern Cal I would probably suggest Massachusetts / Boston, it's a pretty liberal place with a lot of stuff to do (thinking mostly about MIT and Harvard).
Massachusetts.
Florida. Ive heard of it. And it sounds like awesome place.

My grandma says they have good oranges.
if you think you can handle LA or NYC then go for it
New York, live big brudda.
california cost of living is generally pretty high (lol get it, high because MARY JOO ANNA)
colorado is pretty good if you like generally colder weather, don't know about cost of living
certain parts of florida are extremely expensive, others about average; warmer weather
massachusetts don't know much about
new york is like florida except in terms of weather you're going to get extreme highs and extreme lows
don't go to texas unless you like guns, don't care to learn real american history, and are extremely politically conservative
in terms of education, generally all of these states will offer pretty darn good schools/colleges, but it really depends on your major/interests
Connecticut or Massachusetts. New England is probably the most similar to Europe out of most of the regions.
Kansas.
We need more people.

But NC has good bud for lower prices
I'd rule out Texas.
Two words: Bible belt.
Florida is pretty cheap from what I hear and offer good benefits to international residents last time I was there.

Actually, according to a cousin of mine that lives there, their educational system is p. bad. Florida's cool other than that though.

May as well rule out the East coast then. I recommend looking at most of the West coast schools in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, etc. Most of them experience all 4 seasons and the snow is only bad in some of the Rocky Mountain areas.
Although, avoid looking at California and Arizona because both of them are cutting education funding and jacking up prices. Also, Arizona is moving towards making all the public schools "for profit universities" to help pay for the massive debt it has.
