Is the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows good for playing old emulator roms?
Also, is the controller any good for playing games like Half-Life 2?

Thanks.
I use a 360 controller for quite afew games. It works fine. Plenty of games have the functionality built in. The orange box has 360 controller support I believe. So maybe if you got a HL2 mod to run on the orange box you'd be alright.
You can get applications to map the controls to keyboard actions and stuff. Which would make it compatible with most games and emulators.
I personally enjoy either the Logitech Dual Force or the Logitch RumblePad.
I heard the Logitech ones are better.
