I took an oxycodone 5 mgs yesterday and one today and my heart hurts alt can someone tell me what's wrong :(
EDIT: it feels like my heart rate is fucked up and I get chest pains
Go to the hospital instead of posting on a forum if you think you have overdosed jesus
With a few exceptions for drugs with special action (like tramadol or propoxyphene), opioid overdoses kill only by respiratory depression. If you're breathing, you have not overdosed.
Oxycodone will not cause heart problems. However, just because it's unrelated, that does not mean you should ignore your symptoms. Chest pain is not always caused by heart problems, however. It could simply be anxiety. Take a few minutes to look up your symptoms on WebMD or something. Go to the hospital immediately if things get worse.

this. Plus 10mg of oxycodone at once probably wouldn't kill a little kid, so you def didn't OD.

this is likely unrelated to the oxycodone. what do you mean your "heart hurts"? is it pain in the center of your chest? do you feel slight spasms in the center of your chest? if yes, then it could quite possibly be a slight tear or pull of the tendons/muscles in your chest. i get the feeling sometimes and thought it was my heart for the longest time until i actually began checking my pulse when the pain would come about and realizing it wasn't actually heart pain.
also problems with the heart will often cause circulatory problems in the rest of your body. so if the symptoms are just in your chest it might not be heart related at all.
go to a doctor anyways.
op this is the afterlife you are dead
Heart pain tends to originate in the chest but radiate to your arms, neck, upper back and jaw. You'll also experience shortness of breath as the pain is caused by tissue death resulting from lack of oxygen in the heart.
Yeah a heart attack is your heart stopping.
The blood just deaccelerated a shitton. Creating immense blood pressure spikes and drops all throughout your vascular system.
In laymans terms, blood swells your blood vessels in many areas throughout your body. I think the reason why the left arm going numb thing is a thing is cause its the limb located closest to your heart
Heart attacks rarely result in the heart stopping unless they're fatal. Heart attacks are normally caused by clots, but can be caused by excessive strain on the heart for extended periods of time like when you OD on amphetamines . This will result in fatal ventricular fibrillation. Scary shit, although a stroke is more likely with speed.
By the way, I enjoy the coincidence that his name is 'ExtremeVoltage' and he's complaining about heart pain.
guys i smoked a whole weed am i going to die?
