Hey folks I just finished this 10 minute piece today, I really did let myself go with this one. There is tons of synth, tons of crushing lower than 4 string bass tuned guitar riffs and just all my feelings overall. I've been going through alot of depressing phases the last few weeks and as you can hear it definitly affected how this song sounds.
That was very nice. The bass was thick as shit, and the guitars had very nice tone. Guitars could have been a bit more in your face, but that's just how I like my guitars in music like this. Only thing that really bothered me was the snare drum, mostly because it felt so weak compared to the other elements in the song.

Just updated the track with some whispering vox, synths, pianos, choirs, layers the new version replaced the old on the bandcamp page, check it out  https://caynug.bandcamp.com/track/nobody [editline]17th October 2013[/editline] also this: there are times where 15 layers of music play at the same time, I went overboard with melodies and layering.
Is that beefy bass coming from fruit loops or are you actually playing it?
Is that beefy bass coming from fruit loops or are you actually playing it?
It's easier to record while using the bass of fruity loops. I could actually use my own bass but I won't be that flexible in music writing that way so instead of that I use boobass from fruity loops with some modifications  [editline]19th October 2013[/editline] Also the snare drum sounds more beefy in the downloaded version because bandcamps streaming is 128kbps mp3 only.
Although nobody seems to care, I updated the song again... the drums are hella lot more punchy, check it out  https://caynug.bandcamp.com/track/nobody
