BATH, N.Y. (AP) -- A New York man who recently won three marathons in three states in eight days says his winnings will go toward paying his infant son's medical bills for a developmental congenital disorder. The Democrat and Chronicle of Rochester reports that 29-year-old Bryan Morseman of Bath in Steuben (stoo-BEHN') County started his streak March 14 when he won the Montgomery Marathon in Alabama. The next morning, he ran in the Tobacco Road Marathon in Cary, North Carolina, because it was on the way home and won that race. A week later, he took first place in the Yeungling Shamrock Marathon in Virginia Beach.
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_MARATHON_FATHER_CHILD
That can't be doing his body any favors. good cause though
The things parents do for their kids sometimes... what a Dad! This really made me think of all the shit my parents have done for me, too.
Kudos to him! Alot of parents could learn a thing or two from him.
He needs sponsors for this. I'd bet a lot of organizations would get behind it.
God speed to this man. I really wish America had free health care. It sucks to see families there be crippled by medical expenses.

Do these competitions drug test the winners? I can't help but fear that the noble actions of people like this guy could be overshadowed by people using steroids, or perhaps even stimulant drugs like methamphetamine to run the marathons.

The way he probably won: "What are you running for?" "I wanna get the prize and go to bahamas" "oh yeah? well I'm running to pay for my son's medical bills because he has a congenital development dirsorder" "d-damn, please go ahead, I'll let you win this one"
