ok so my current build is additional -300W PSU so i'm getting Asus GTX 750ti and Cooler Master 700w PSU so i wonder will that be enough to run kinda aged AAA games, or i should start to save some money on a new cpu additional notes -Motherboard was replaced nearly 2 years ago (along with the RAM)
Tbh, I'd say save for a new Motherboard, CPU, PSU and GPU. As for the 750ti / 700w PSU id say that the 260x will run quicker than the 750 ti, and you really won't need a 700w psu for this. I've thrown together a budget parts list for this here with CPU/Motherboard/GPU/PSU: --------- PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i3-4150 3.5GHz Dual-Core Processor (£83.99 @ Ebuyer) Motherboard: MSI H97 PC MATE ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£59.96 @ Scan.co.uk) Video Card: XFX Radeon R7 260X 2GB Core Edition Video Card (£79.99 @ Scan.co.uk) Power Supply: Corsair Builder 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (£39.99 @ Amazon UK) Total: £263.93 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2014-11-12 20:15 GMT+0000 ---------- And if you want to keep your motherboard / cpu (this could be a potential bottleneck) heres a GPU/PSU parts list: ---------- PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 280 3GB TWIN FROZR Video Card (£140.79 @ Ebuyer) Power Supply: Corsair Builder 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (£52.31 @ Aria PC) Total: £193.10 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2014-11-12 19:56 GMT+0000 ---------- Hope this helps
If it were my rig, I'd get a new motherboard, CPU and memory. But if you're on a tight budget, you could get away with upgrading the CPU, GPU and power supply. The E6320 is a pretty old processor and it will hold back the performance of a more modern graphics card. Your motherboard does support an E8400 though and you can get them very cheap on Ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Intel-Core-2-Duo-E8400-3-00GHz-6M-1333-SLB9J-Dual-Core-Processor-/291082867794?pt=CPUs&hash=item43c5e41452 The E8400 is 66-73% faster than your E6320, you'll notice a pretty substantial performance increase.
ok i've placed a order, of both items, so we'll see the result in few days
