Hello again Facepunch. I have widdled my search down to a motherboard and processor that I would want. They're at the peak of my price range at the moment and I don't want to buy new RAM. So, I found a motherboard which is still DDR2 but can handle a new processor.
My old motherboard: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2287#ov
New Mobo: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3141#
Old processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+
New Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727&cm_re=Phenom_II_X4_965-_-19-103-727-_-Product
Now, my question is. Will my old DDR2 RAM still work in this motherboard? I'm stretching out my price range more than I want. I have a 700 Watt power supply so I am covered there I do believe. I am tired of having problems as well and I just want to find a correct match. So, opinions or additions?
Yes, it will work fine.
Get the 955 version. 0.2GHZ isn't worth $15
