That's right, you post past clans, forums, chatgroups, communities, anything you were in that died eventually. Possible wall of text ahead, tracking all they way back to 2006, and I'm going to tell you very quickly how I transitioned between all of these communities which I miss so dearly. I started playing Halo CE Trial after 2 months on 4chan under the name "Peanut", when I found these 2 dudes in something called a "clan" (I was 9 at the time.). Eventually I wandered around different game on my dad's laggy PC, when I decided to start my own clan. I changed my name to CNC, short for Clan Noob Commander in chief (Once again, still 9 at the time.). I had no idea how to manage any type of community so I ended up basically saying I'm a one man clan breastfeeding off some dude name IceColdKila. He was great at the game, but he tlked like dis. I quickly befriended a clan member named Gzero (Whom I still keep in contact with today.). This clan introduced me to Xat chat, where I found a chat called pokemonfanzone. I trolled them without even knowing I was trolling (giving shit to the bisexual guy for being bisexual, etc.) until a chat called Qbone came up and it died. I wandered xat for a couple more weeks but, in 5th grade, I got back into Halo. That pretty much went on until 6th grade when I discovered Gmod and made crappy NPC shit in singleplayer. The first roleplay server I played on was a build RP server, as a medic. I crashed and said "bak to singleplayer!!!1" I used to play a lot on Campin' Carl's Post-Apoc RP server on rp_salvation, but I got banned sometime after it switched to gm_atomic. Now my brother's friend plays on his sandbox server, which after I wrote that now seems unrelated. That's where I came up with the name Trebor Ossymn (Tree-boar Awesome) (After Going from Peanut to CNC to Peanut to Trebor). That's also around the time I made my account on FP. My grammar improved, and I found Osiris 24/7 Serious RP. Oh god, how I loved Osiris. It constantly changed maps, no model limitation, no minges, the only downfall was that the server owner got VENT banned. So, I packed my shit, and then one day join a friend's game through steam. SRG, the server I now play on, happened to be it. I've come up with the most shit there than I have on any other roleplay server, and I've had some of the best RP experiences (No where near the amount I've had on Osiris though.). Also, on an unrelated note: I've been searching for the people I used to talk to on pokemonfanzone (Which was ~4 years ago.), which was well over 10 people. Some of them could be dead, but if you guys want, I'll record my progress of finding my old acquaintances and post it here when I find most of them. I've already found 4 out of ~10+.
...good to know
Story of your life
I did stuff.
Started with Addicting Games. From there, went to Homestar Runner for the next year or so. Runescape clan called the White Knights of Falador (makes me :barf: to say that out loud) Clan collapsed hilariously due to leadership disputes, Half life 2 comes out, Garry's Mod a year later, Facepunch. There's a whole lot that I left out but that's the gist of it.
Started with Neopets and shit Went to Gaia Online in my Internet infancy days and then moved to forums.court-records.net Now i'm on Facepunch
Porn. Then Facepunch.
a proud post
jk i get all the bitches
Started off with Neopets and absolutely fell in love with it thinking it was the best game in the world, suddenly I was introduced to a different websites: Habbo Hotel, Addicting Games, Miniclip. Left Neopets, some what got into Habbo Hotel for about a month, left and heard about MMORPGs and FPS, started to play MapleStory for about one and a half to two years and Crossfire / Solider Front / Wolfteam / GunZ. Then started loving MMORPGs played Mabinogi, Runescape, Lunia, Silkroad Online, Atlantica Online, World of Warcraft, LaTale, Dragon Oath, Grand Fantasia, Rakion and heaps more. Joined little MMORPG forums such as BasilMarket, /ggftw. Then was introduced to Steam where I was suddenly addicted to my Uncle's Steam account which had Counter-Strike: Source and Day of Defeat: Source and once he disallowed me to use his account went back to MMORPGs, and then decided to make a Steam account myself and joined Facepunch, where I started asking for Steam games on the Gift Giving Thread and managed to chip in over 13 games and managed to make great friends and eventually I can't stop playing Garry's MOD, Counter-Strike: Source and Killing Floor. Internet was one of the best things for me. Got a bootlegged Half-Life 2 copy, which sucked balls. It was glitchy, crashed a lot of times. Then I installed Gmod 6 on it, Facepunch. Then purchased The Orange Box, then GMOD10
