So i'm looking for a small size distro that boots very quickly, but I don't want it to be too minimalistic, I want word processing and internet as well, preferably included in the distro
Any ideas?
Well if you build Arch up to be nice and minimal it boots in about twenty seconds for me. What kind of specs do you have? There is Damn Small Linux and Puppy Linux that are extremely minimal and boot quickly.
iirc SliTaz has word processing by default, and I know for a fact that it has firefox already'
Though if you're using a USB modem or wireless connection, it doesn't have proper drivers for that. So hook up by ethernet if you are.

Also my Gentoo machine with a Pentium 4 boots up in about 14 seconds (and idles at 41 MB RAM usage, so you've got that to look forward to also)
