Well I wouldn't expect them to come out and say that the console will have reliability issues.
the next one will have exploding LED's
They've replaced the red LEDs with blue ones, since blue is a cooler colour than red.
Whew, that's a relief. And there I thought the corporate vice president of Microsoft would come out and tell me that it would have reliability issues.
Well it's be dumb to expect the Xbox One to work absolutely perfectly, even the PS3 had troubles with reliability times (in fact, I've had more PS3's fail on me than Xbox's)
Instead, you'll lose the ability to watch TV

The rice in background is a nice touch.
Did they do the same thing as they did with the 360 S and take the red LEDs out?
Christ, now I'm worried about even getting a console in the box.

Of course it'll run fine, they aren't going to bullshit us with a shitty build quality this time, they know the importance of this console, it breaking won't make anyone want to get it.
I already don't want to get it. I'm personally waiting for a second gen Wii U. It seems to be the only system that doesn't try to shove it's e-dick down my throat.
Of course it'll run fine, they aren't going to bullshit us with a shitty build quality this time, they know the importance of this console, it breaking won't make anyone want to get it.
A lack of focus on games is already driving people away.

I think the problem is, the red ring of death is far more notorious than any PS3 issue. I mean I've had more xboxes (both 360 and the original) fail on me than I care to count. My PS2 only broke once (it broke for good, but only after 7 years of damn near constant use) and I've yet to have any issues on my PS3.
I believe them. Why? Because they probably got really scared about it, enough to fix it once and for all. It's also the reason why they dropped out of E3 at the last moment.
A lack of focus on games is already driving people away.
Wasn't it similar on the PS3 launch though?
Just watch as the first Xbone technical defect is reported within the week of the launch.
I believe them. Why? Because they probably got really scared about it, enough to fix it once and for all. It's also the reason why they dropped out of E3 at the last moment.
the only reason the 360 had issues was because they rushed it to beat the ps3
Too bad nobody will buy it and experience the hardware fault free experience.
the only reason the 360 had issues was because they rushed it to beat the ps3
I'm talking about THIS time. http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1276087
Too bad nobody will buy it and experience the hardware fault free experience.
by "nobody will buy it" you mean "no hardcore mustard race facepunch or /v/ users will buy it", right? [editline]6th June 2013[/editline]
I'm talking about THIS time. http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1276087
don't think a twitter post from one guy counts as an official microsoft statement. wait n'see.
Xbox One features: -you can watch tv -people can annoy you over skype while you're watching tv -you can easily manage your fantasy football team (you huge dorklord) -call of dogty -it doesn't burn or explode when you use it (anonymous industry insider rumor: it does explode when you put a used game in it)
no where did they mention that it wont scratch the disk when you tilt the console gg microsoft
by "nobody will buy it" you mean "no hardcore mustard race facepunch or /v/ users will buy it", right? And while not official, they DID mention that the processor would be underclocked by 200mhz due to overheating cautions.
so I heard the Xbox one won't have the 3 red lights anymore only one
Blue is the warmest colour
Purple.
oh well then gee willikers I'm sold
Wasn't it similar on the PS3 launch though?
And the PS3 nearly died because of it. [editline]6th June 2013[/editline] They actually showed exclusive games at the launch.
