- The BBC claimed it is inaccurate because it would take 'around 100 staffing days' to correct and would make pages load slowly

I'm laughing harder at the BBC claiming it would take 100 days to fix. :v:

To be honest, I'm sure it was just tongue in cheek.
Another case of the BBC trying to push their left-wing Eurocentric propaganda on the unsuspecting British public, luckily we have patriots like the man (or woman let us not be sexist) who reported this heinous act and exposed their lies!
Note that it's not the clock is inaccurate per se, it's just using the user's computer clock, so it's only inaccurate if that is. They'd have to reprogram the clock in order to make it do what this person wants it to.

It goes by your computer clock, if you change the time on your computer the clock on the site will change.
They're saying people should trust the BBC to show the right time all the time, regardless of the accuracy of your computer clock

Probably because you didn't read it.
Why do people care if the clock is wrong, when technically it is correct. Its the users fault that its wrong, its more functional to make the clock go by your computers time then by hard coding it to be a certain way. Its not hard to change the time on your computer.
Imagine how many staffing days it would take for the Daily Mail to fix all the misleading things on their site.
