Hi guys, so here's the deal. My glasses broke, and I need to order some new ones. Now, I'm not an optician nor do I know any opticians or optometry students, and it's Sunday so my local one is closed.
I'd appreciate if someone here that has the know-how could take 2 minutes to decipher the image below into the following info so I can see again.
Sphere (SPH)
Cylinder (CYL)
Axis
Addition (ADD)

Thanks.

I'd like to disagree. Since his ADD is an RN5LN5 and his right lens is at 6/7 .5-0.75, I'd maybe give him a couple more hours.
shit, I actually want to buy some new ones. Are you buying them online?
I can call my granddad and ask him, hopefully these values are universal no matter what country you're in.
Will get back to this thread.

Well my granddad was being quite cryptic but how I understood it, besides the fact he told me just how your vision is bad :v::
R (right glass): SPH, CYL, AXIS, ADD.
L (Left glass): SPH, CYL, AXIS, ADD.
On websites they ask for this info when you want to make the order.
No idea if this is any help, and I wouldn't advice you to follow this blindly (pun intended)

Yeah mate online, just getting some cheap Ray Bans or something
Managed to find an old mate from school who's studying optometry at uni, managed to get
sphere/cyl x axis
R -0.75/+0.25 x 90
L -1.25/+0.25 x 180

I ordered my ray bans from select specs over a month ago and I still haven't received them. It took them 3 weeks to begin shipping them. Be careful with them.
Hrm :/ everything seems alright so far, my lenses have apparently been produced and its going in for glazing

It took over a week for mine to actually start glazing. You might get yours in a timely fashion though considering you actually live in the UK (assuming from flagdog).
go to Wal-mart or a second hand store and buy some of those shitty reading glasses.
Pop out the lenses and give those to the place that fits your new lenses.
