• Question about Windows 10 upgrade icon.

[del]So I had to get a new PC near the end of July, and I got a fresh install of Windows 7. I updated it, but didn't seem to find the upgrade to windows 10 icon, so I thought there was an update that I just wasn't getting. I leave my computer and come back with my dad on it, he told me he found out it just no longer appeared on machines, and said he changed something in the registry for it to appear again. I didn't really want it there, I just thought that I wasn't up to date. I just want to know what he did so I can change it back.[/del] Just asked him , said he didn't know what I was talking about when I said he told me about doing something to the registry, and said he just installed the update himself. Guess I'm just gonna remove the update.
Have you tried going to system32, seeing if GWX is there and opening GWX.exe in there if it is?
Just get it from here instead of trying to get GWX to work, does the same thing, just choose upgrade. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
