• So I got a burn wound

So I was cleaning the stove a couple of days ago and I took off the burner, but I had no idea somebody had just used it, so when I went to put it back I grabbed the other side (it's one of those long ones that covers an entire portion of the stove) and it burned my fingers quite a bit, they hurt bad enough that not making any noise I felt like I was in one of those Tom and Jerry cartoons.. My problem comes in with this, I didn't notice at first because it was on the other side, but as I was putting stuff on it for the burns, I noticed on the opposite side of the ring finger where I don't remember any burns being there was some white, wrinkly looking skin, so I applied some stuff to that too. Fast forward to yesterday, near my fingertips felt alright, albeit smooth from the burns, but the thing on my ring finger was slightly more red around the outside and the whole thing hurt a tiny bit to touch, and idk if it was the lighting but there appeared to be a tiny bit of yellow, so last night I cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide and put some antibacterial ointment over it and went to sleep. Today when I woke up it wasn't nearly as red and doesn't hurt as much, except now in part of it there is this darker reddish square which looks like I peeled it away to reveal a wound (I didn't do so, unless I did it in my sleep) which hurts too, but the entire thing isn't nearly as red around the edges, except for this one, it's like the square's edges are kinda red, but then it fades to a pinker color that's still dark. Basically I'm wondering if I should be worried. It seems to be getting better, but I burned my hand the day before yesterday so I'm not sure if it should be like this.
Should have applied some Boa's fat (or Omega 3 Fish Oil) on the burnt area the moment it happened. Usually normal burn wounds would have some sort of inflammation like this and if you are able to leave it long enough and pop it, it'll recover itself. The wound feeling smooth is also normal. Post pics if possible. I'm not a doctor, just got burnt wounds a lot so that was only my personal experience. Consult a doctor if you're still unsure.
You have to get your finger amputated.
post pics please

Looks like my burns from work. Just put some antibacterial ointment on it and let it heal up. I burned the top of my hand on the grill oven at work, which when fully heated up, is about 500°F. It really wasnt too bad, but it looked a bit like your burn. I just put some Neosporin on it for about a week and now I don't even see a scar about 3 weeks later.
So it looks normal? I was mostly concerned because it just started looking like this today, but not yesterday or when I got it.
I've had quite a few burn wounds throughout my life, my most recent one being oven-related like yours although for me it was along my arm. Mine ended up turning brown, getting itchy, then it eventually all fell off and healed. All that's left is a huge scar. You'll be fine if you leave it alone since you already applied some antibacterial ointment.
Your hand is cooked now There is no turning back.
Might as well eat your hand now...
Not sure if its an option, but try putting some Blue Star ointment on it. Whenever we got burnt, my mother would put some on it every couple of hours and it seemed to help.
