I played a bit of Unity yesterday and I have to say, once patched it's not that bad. It looks great, the animations are good, the faces are impressive as fuck, and it's the same gameplay. And Arno is a funny smartass Of course, the two big issues are if Vsync is turned on, cutscenes are a laggy 13fps mess in some places, even on an R9 380, and NPC LoD Pop-in is ridiculous. Other than that though, I haven't had any performance issues Even though it's $40, I'd still wait for 25% or more off. Still doesn't top AC2 or Black Flag though
Syndicate it fun but it is missing a story or any interesting characters
Hopefully this means the end of the series is near
I hope they do this right. I would love having all the games as a unified experience; the Animus provides the perfect framework for that.

They could even streamline it by making all the collectibles go across all the games rather than having 8 games' worth of collectible shit. That is, in theory. All the modern storylines have been pretty shitty since 3 (I actually liked Black Flags but not as much nor in the same way). But for real, it would be REALLY cool if they remade some of the older games in the new engine. I really don't think they warrant a simple HD Re-release though, most of the previous games have had pretty stellar graphics aside from smaller details. Then again I know it won't happen because that would be a shitload of work and money to port them over into whole new engines :frown:
What's the point? These games are all so similar and they aren't even that old so I don't feel like they even merit a remake. Just give us something new Ubisoft!!!!!
Hopefully this means the end of the series is near
End of the series implies that Assassin's Creed isn't making a fuck ton of money.
