• Mouse button "releasing itself" when held down.

I have a Logitech Optical USB mouse, and lately it has started acting strangely. When I click and hold the left mouse button, and drag the pointer around, the mouse button "releases itself" for a split second. For example, let's say I'm dragging an icon on my desktop. And suddenly it stops dragging and starts marking a rectangle, as if I had released the mouse button and started holding it again. I'm sorry if it sounds confusing. If you understand what I mean, do you know a fix for it?

May be a loose connection, the mouse disconnects for a split second, and reconnects, so the click signal is lost. Open it up and clean it, and make sure the wire's pushed all the way in.
My old mouse used to do this. There was a little raised part on the underside of the left button that wore down and wasn't always making contact when clicked. I was able to fix it by using superglue to rebuild the worn spot.
I open it up and blew some air in it. Now it works perfectly. Thanks, guys!
Must be annoying it minecraft

Just a fucking idea
