So yeah, whenever I select a bus in the mixer, it increases the volume, but when I click on the master bus, the volume goes back to normal.
It also increases when I click on a channel in the step-sequencer.
Please help me, FP, you're my only hope.
Which FL Studio version are you using?
oh and try posting on the FL Studio forums they are ultra helpful

I'm using FL 10.0.9
I haven't used FL in years, but it sounds like some kind of audition setting or something. Try searching the manual that comes with it in the help section for "audition" or "preview" or "cue". Not sure what else it could be but thats just a thought.

Just checked, couldn't find anything.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
There are small buttons under each mixer track that say: Send to Insert 1 or 2 or etc. Check those off if that is the problem.
There are also knobs for an Insert track to go to a Send 1 and to Master. See if there are conflicting stuff.
Actually, each channel sends to Master and Sends. You can route signal to another Insert too, but take care of double volumes.
Can't think of anything else.
nope, it didn't :(
What is happening more exactly?
Well, I add a limiter to the master of every song I make, so when I highlight the master bus whilst the song is playing, it stays at the volume it should be, but then if I highlight one of the inserts, the song gets incredibly louder.
If it weren't for the fact that it only happens when you select anything else but the master, I'd say you're sending an insert to another insert, without de-sending the first insert to the master.
Weird.
Guys, I found out the problem.
You see, I suffer with severe retardation, and I am actually a fucking retard. Because, it isn't a problem, it's just on one particular project, it's just a bug in a certain project (most likely because the CPU's straining with all of the effects running simultaneously).
