The man allegedly described how he had been sent on a mission by Pakistani intelligence services to relocate bin Laden and his family to a small compound in Bilal, Abbottabad. A letter sent by Mr Lee's lawyers to FBI director James Comey in August claims Mr Lee subsequently shared this information with FBI agents.
Bin Laden was killed by US special forces in 2011 Tom Lee claims he knew where bin Laden was hiding (pic: Mlive)
Good luck getting any of that cash.
What a moron, you cant sell information youve already released. Shit, maybe i should be a businessman, the competition seems stale.
Should have asked for payment before giving that info.
How the fuck did this old white guy know where Osama Bin Laden was (User was banned for this post ("Did not read the article/OP before posting" - MaxOfS2D))
How the fuck did this old white guy know where Osama Bin Laden was
He was friends with an intel agent in Pakistan, if you read the article you'd know this.

Even if he is true, Pakistani intelligence would probably be able to find out the agent who told him, and "disappear" him if they wanted to. If their families really had been close for decades it shouldn't be a big task for any intel agency worth its salt. Way to go, hero
i dont think anyone got the money, which is pretty fucking lame if you ask me
Should have asked for payment before giving that info.
do you really think the US would pay him rather than detain him until he told?

Then this guy could get the money as well!(sarcasm)
Good job Mr. White
not every old white dude is walter white jfc he doesn't even look like him
Good job Mr. White
He looks more like Walter from Big Lebowski than Walter White
Did anybody else see the funnies and the title and think this guy didn't know that bin Laden had already been found and had just found some information pertaining to his location and thought he'd try and tell the US government?
do you really think the US would pay him rather than detain him until he told?
Do you have any examples of innocent American civilians being tortured to extract information or is that just assumptive BS?
According to wikipedia, the compound began construction in 2003 and Osama didn't move in until 2006. So uh.. I don't really see how his claims are possible. I'm guessing at the most he told the FBI 'osama is hiding in abbottabad guys!!' without actually giving an exact location.
The bigger issue here is if this is true then the Pakistani's knew where Bin Laden was all along..... [editline]3rd November 2013[/editline] and were more or less helping him....
I want 25 million dollars, too!
A bit surprised no one has mentioned Kony 2012 yet.
The navy seal that shot Osama was my dad, so I want 30 million.
My dad was osama I want 100 million
Was there not a bounty on information on Taliban leaders and there whereabouts? Maybe he needed to submit the information in another fashion that stated he wished for a reward, but I'm pretty sure his information, if used, should be eligible.
How to get shot 101: Get on the news telling a bunch of extremists you're the apparent snitch.

I really didn't expect the government to grant that bounty to anyone, especially since they can just deny that they used whoever claimed it as a source so they wouldn't be obliged to pay. The fine print does stipulate that any tip that leads to the capture of bin Laden will be rewarded, after all. I also thought it was fucking retarded that the bounty would be null and void if you physically brought bin Laden in yourself. (I read it somewhere, I don't remember where, can't find it again so... sorry, take that with a grain of salt)

It's the reason we did a complete black operation without even telling the Pakistanis that we were going into their country.
