Is this one any good compared to the others? Also, ®
Is this one any good compared to the others? Also, ®
It was made by Spark Unlimited, and it's a really, really boring game. No more free usage of the grappling hook, your Vital Suit is slow, clunky and you have to stay within a certain range of it to keep your HUD, and the majority of the game is filled with repairing objects interspersed with drab combat, making it feel like it was trying to rip off Issac's engineering from Dead Space and then make it a primary focus of the game. Besides the Akrid and traditional third-person-shooter gameplay (now with cover because surprise surprise [sp]you fight humans for the last portions of the game[/sp]), you'd think it was a different series altogether if it weren't for being a prequel to the first game.

You've always fought those kinds of enemies in LP1 and 2.

Sorry, I was going to edit it but Edit doesn't work here.
Best Lost Planet is the first Lost Planet.
Best Lost Planet is the first Lost Planet.
I still need to get around to getting some Lost Planet on my PC, is the first or second game recommended? I figure to go for the Colonies version of the former, but I get the feeling the online on both is dead either way.

Daily reminder that Capcom considers Lost Planet to be one of their main franchises now despite mediocre returns on their investment, and still try to pretend that Megaman doesn't exist.
