How do you get someone to stop trying to convince you to get a Mac?

So, my brother is a massive Apple fanboy - he literally thinks Macs, iPhones, iPods, etc, are automatically better than all their competition in every way. And he will not stop pestering me and our mum about switching to Macs. And he doesn't seem to listen to anything we say in response. Here's some examples of conversations we have:
Completely unprovoked:
"Man, you should definitely buy a Mac."
"No thanks, I don't want to."
"Why not? You've got the money." (Referring to the $10,000 sitting in a bank account in my name that I got as inheritance last year)
"I'm saving that money for either a car or an overseas holiday."
"That's dumb, it'd be better spent on a Mac. Why won't you buy a Mac?"
"I just don't want to, ok?"
"Why not?"
"I have a lot of games, and most of them won't work on a Mac - at least not without significant effort. And if I was going to put in that effort, I'd switch to Linux."
"So? Blizzard games work on Macs, why would you ever need to play anything else." (Yeah, he's a massive Blizzard fanboy too. In his mind, they can do no wrong and their games are always the best ever.)
"I play other games too. Jeez, can you just leave me alone about it already?"
"Fine, god, what's up your ass?"
When I'm trying to remove a malicious extension that somehow got installed onto Chrome on Mum's computer:
Him: "Why are you wasting your time, you should just get a Mac."
Mum: "I don't want to spend that sort of money, I already spent $600 on this computer."
Him: "But Macs are better!"
Mum: "Look, I know how to use the programs I need on this already and I don't want to have to learn everything again. And I don't want to spend the money on it."
Him: "But Macs are the easiest things in the world to use, it'd take no time for you to learn everything! And then things like this wouldn't happen either, Macs don't get viruses at all!"
Me: "Actually, there is malware for Macs. There's less of it than Windows malware because it's a smaller target, but it exists."
Him: "SHUT UP! Why are you so against Macs! Stop hating and just get a Mac!"
Me: "Look, can you just leave us alone? You're making it hard to get things done."
Him: "Fine, god, I don't know why you're all being such assholes!"
etc, etc.
Now, I know the long term solution would be to just move out, and I am going to eventually, just can't right now while I'm going to uni.
In the meantime, is there anything I might be able to do to get him to leave me alone about it?

You could stop him by getting a Mac.

what
Have you tried telling him to fuck off
You really should get a mac, though. Why not?

Why are you still listening to him after this?
Try paying no attention to him. At all. Have normal conversations as usual but when he starts jizzing over Macs, just stop the conversation dead. Don't respond, don't say anything, nothing.
Get a Mac.
Buy a mac.
Than hit him over the head with it.
Suggest him to install MacKeeper.

Someone I know is obsessed with Apple, it's really obnoxious.
Really, just explain to him why you like Windows better, tell him to respect your decision, and that his repetitive Mac suggestions are annoying because you already decided you have your side on Windows.
Buy a shitty mouse and keyboard and buy a big mac from macdonalds. Clear your desk, slap that big mac in the middle, plug in your mouse and keyboard, then bring him to look at it. After a few seconds, lift up the top bun revealing a note saying "Fuck off."

I will keep that in mind as a possible last resort solution, just ahead of murder.
what

Yes. He's like one of those super-determined missionaries who won't take no for an answer.

Mostly because I already have a decent computer so I don't feel like going out and spending money on another computer when I could use that money for something else, also partially because of the lack of native game support.

I'll give this a go next time he brings the subject up. Thanks everyone!
I bet if you buy one, he'll just keep reminding you how great they are and that he was the one who made you switch.
Get a big mac hamburger and then tell him you finally got a Mac.
Get the latest mac with no dvd drive and hand him your best collection in a DVD.
I'm on a Mac 10.4.11, getting my new computer Saturday ( Other one broke a month ago ) This is the worst experience of my life.

I haven't seen someone with WXP for a while :) I miss XP it's so much simpler...

But Macs are superior in every conceivable way! Macs are flawless and they don't get viruses so you don't have to pay for antivirus!
Your brother sounds like an absolute fucking pest. Is he naturally annoying like that, or is it just about Macs?
Macs are pretty and quite stable, most people are turned off by their price range and lack of support for most windows applications
but I'm enjoying my first macbook

This is honestly the thing I hate the most about Mac users. Everything is an application, not a program. :v:
How practical would it be to constantly keep a closed door, and maybe a wall or four, between the two of you?
buy a big mac and a actual apple
then use duct tape to do the magic
You should keep bothering him about buying a windows PC.
Install Arch linux on his mac, tell him it's the leading edge in operating systems.
You wouldn't be lying.

They are similar but they aren't exactly synonymous, at least not in my understanding of the terms.
A program can apply to any type of program including a small amount of instructions.
An application generally refers to a fleshed out piece of software.
Application is a term used a lot on Windows too.

I'd prefer W7, but can't have everything eh?

Probably, ha.
Your brother sounds like an absolute fucking pest. Is he naturally annoying like that, or is it just about Macs?
He can be like this with other subjects (Ie, the aforementioned Blizzard fanboyism - if he sees me playing any MMO, he'll be all "WoW is the best MMO ever and nothing will ever be better" despite the fact that he's never even played any other MMOs.), the Mac thing is just what he does the most often.

I honestly wouldn't mind using one if it wasn't for the lack of support for a lot of programs I use. They seem to be pretty good machines otherwise.
How practical would it be to constantly keep a closed door, and maybe a wall or four, between the two of you?
I've tried that before, the door to my room is ancient and has no lock on it, so he just opens it and barges in like privacy is not a thing.
Start bugging him to install gentoo.
he sounds like a chuunibyou
punch some sense into him
get your brother checked for autism and/or tell mommy
But Macs are superior in every conceivable way! Macs are flawless and they don't get viruses so you don't have to pay for antivirus!
you cant be serious, macs get viruses just like PCs. they are not the same type, but they are out there. Its probably easier to infect a mac computer with a virus because so many people believe that they are "invincible" and skip on getting protection
and even then, you can just grab the free microsoft security essentials for pc, most people really dont need paid antivirus.
The amount of misinformation these apple fanboys made is ridiculous
