"Warning: Connection Problem Auto-Disconnect" with all Source games

Hello, I'm getting the "Warning: Connection Problem Auto-Disconnect" thing in all source games after about being in any server for about 5 seconds. I'm getting kicked in other non source games too, pretty much every game that has a multiplayer option will kick me after about 5 seconds.
I recently moved to Pittsburgh for college, and our ISP is Comcast. The modem is a Netgear CG814CCR. My roomate set up a Netgear WNR2000 router but I'm directly connected to it with a cat5 cable.
I don't know if he set up any restrictions or not because he won't let me touch his laptop, but I did connect to the settings page through the network and sharing center, the bandwidth restriction is off so I guess that's not the problem.
I ran this speedtest.net thing if that's any help.

All I want to do is play some online games with friends, but this is preventing me from doing so.
Any help solving this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Does your ip (external or internal) change between losing connection?
Do you have anything that could be interuppting the bind between source and port 27015? (firewalls, antivirus software)

I should probably check that, I've had McAffe installed and it's never really done that before, but it recently started blocking Dropbox. The problem is not just Source based games though, it's all online games.

Adding the source port to McAffe's firewall exceptions only increased the time it took to get dropped from a server by about 2 seconds.
The IP address stays the same after loosing connection. The internet is still connected while the server is connecting me, so it's not resetting or cutting out.
Try disabling McAffe, source doesn't use port 27015 for clients.
I turned off the firewall temporarily and I still have the problem, do I need to completely disable McAffe?
I don't really like it when my computer has no virus protection.
You can't get a virus from source games; you should be more worried about disabling your firewall.
Alright, the problem will but put on hold for now. I'm going home for the weekend.
So, I shut down McAffe and restarted Steam and tried to play a little DoD:S. It still kicks me and I have no idea why. I could really use some help here.
