Sounds meh. Glad i didn't buy premium.
just maps, and they want money for this. yeah nah. Least they could do is put in some weapons. There are hundreds, if not thousands of guns out there why are they limiting themselves.

Most of them with a shitton of customization options. Also this DLC isn't just maps. They're adding new vehicles and probably new weapons too, seeing as they're adding new assignments.
New vehicles that are locked onto the map themselves. [editline]27th July 2012[/editline]
just maps, and they want money for this. yeah nah. Whoever invented this DLC crap, may you burn forever
Whoever invented this DLC crap, may you burn forever
Ok so you hate Expansion packs. Well, I guess you prefer the game studio to go bankrupt for not extending the lifespan of their videogames through expansion packs. They need money too. Premium will give you the maps for free so you don't have to buy again
I hope they add cars from Need For Speed
I for one, am excited to see what DICE does with Battlefield in the last two expansions. Battlefield 3 is too fucking fun and I am more than willing to dish out a few bucks for some new content.

Maps take a lot of effort and time to make. 4 new maps is well deserved of the price, if you ask me. Some people bitch just to bitch.
this looks really awesome and adds more food to plate for BF3, but it should just be a free content patch, not something that you should have to dig up 10-20 dollars for
This is how you do DLC, Call of Duty
This is how you do DLC, Call of Duty
uhm DLC that hardly anyone is gonna pay for should just be free period
uhm DLC that hardly anyone is gonna pay for should just be free period
How about you go look up the expansion packs for all of the previous battlefield games, now shutup. This isn't something out of the blue. [editline]26th July 2012[/editline] thats just 1942 then there is BF2 Oh, and that one. All of em cost money as far as I know.
This is how you do DLC, Call of Duty
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHA
wait, what ever happened to the Armored Kill DLC? or did they just junk that one
wait, what ever happened to the Armored Kill DLC? or did they just junk that one
This is the one after that one.

If you don't want the maps (and other shit) don't pay for it; it won't effect you in any way, so shut up. I myself don't mind paying a small bit of cash for some extra content for a game I enjoy, and I'm sure plenty others don't either. It's not like they had these maps sitting there on the games release, all they're doing is expanding their game and putting more work into it, what the fuck is the problem with that?

Possibly not the best guns. Apart from that, no problems.
I really doubt there will be a huge problem with finding a server with compatible content. You can just uncheck the ones you don't have from the filter and there's still a ton of servers. And the guns are supposed to be balanced.
all of battlefield 2's expansion packs were included in a free patch a few years ago besides, who are you to say that this is a good business practice? it isn't very practical
The only expansion pack for BF2 is Special forces, which is not included in the patch. Armored Fury and the like are Booster packs.
This is how you do DLC, Call of Duty
Can we stop this manufactured rivalry between two similar brown Russian shooting simulators.
Less servers with compatible maps. Possibly not the best guns. Apart from that, no problems.
What bullshit, there'll be plenty of servers to choose from still. You're just looking for something to complain about, sadly you picked something that still won't have any noticeable effect on you.
The DLC isn't free if you have premium, seeing as premium is $50.
The DLC isn't free if you have premium, seeing as premium is $50.
It's probably cheaper than just buying one at a time. And seeing that vehicles and weapons are mixed in with the maps, i'm glad that i bought premium. And for all of you haters, the employees of Dice need their salary too. Help them to keep making awesome DLC despite that EA is in charge of them. If not, stop complaining about people buying premium because it's their money and you don't have anything to say about how they should spend their money.
I keep saying it but I will only buy 2143 and THATS IT. GIVE ME 2143 DICE FFS.
This is how you do DLC, Call of Duty
Uh no. Maps should be 100% free. Especially if you're going to pile on 35 maps in total and only 9 are available with the core game. THe minute "optional" DLC becomes a necessity there's something wrong. Weapons should be free too. There should not be guns only available to some and not to others. That's bullshit.
all of battlefield 2's expansion packs were included in a free patch a few years ago besides, who are you to say that this is a good business practice? it isn't very practical
Alright then. Come back in 2016 and complain about DICE not releasing the content for free if the fact they were released for free matters more than the content in them to you. You might as well as be complaining about the same business practices being applied on BF4 by then, even though it works for BF3. [editline]27th July 2012[/editline]
Uh no. You have to draw a line, EA and DICE aren't exactly hyping up premium and releasing more content than the base (MP) game for nothing.
