• How can I disable data execution prevention?

Okay simple problem. I havae been wanting to play GTA4 on my PC and every time I start it up my game is terminated instantly. It also does the same thing with Internet Explorer every once in a while. I read about it and I know that I don't want it. Is there any way to disable or fully remove it? I'm running on Vista by the way.
Right-click on My Computer, and go to properties. Next, choose "Advanced System Settings". Under performance, choose "Settings". Go to the "Data Execution Prevention" tab. Change the toggle to "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select:", and add the GTA4 executable and whatever else is having issues to the list. Choose okay. You may need to restart, I forget.
Yeah that works for single programs. I want to disable it for everything. I mean that helps me deal with this one program that I want now but I want this problem to be dealt with for all programs.

And you wouldn't want to, anyway. Besides, DEP won't cause issues with everything so just exclude what you need to.
