What games do you play only to do things unrelated to the main purpose of the game?

Example ^
Only play to dance around with friends.
I don't play normal servers often on TF2
Usually I just slaughter everyone on the achievement servers
To this day, I don't know how to play clue. I used to just play around with the little figurines and make a sort of reality show kind of like real world, but with the clue characters.
Fuck around in the editor for Arma 2

I think everyone's played with Risk figurines in that fashion
I play GTA4 on pc with the traction on vehicles set to -1. If you aren't doing this, you're wasting your time with the game.
Moon base alpha

Wait, so is it not a mod?
And does it work on PS3?
I play gta to run errands and be a good Samaritan in general.

As it involves editing game files.
I'm gonna go ahead and say no.
Warcraft III custom games (singleplayer or LAN with friends, not online; sometimes I play Heroes and Empires or Genesis of Empires II just to build cities)
Spore editors
[del]Skyrim (waifu simulator)[/del]
Counterstrike: Source (only exists in my Steam library for Gmod resources)
I used to play Psi-Ops' little training arena mode a lot just to create a whole lot of chaos and physics kills back when I still had it on my PC.
I also used to play Populous: The Beginning just to cheat so I get all spells with no cost/cooldown and then mess with the landscape.
And I used to play Starcraft, start up a custom map with 7 AI players on free for all, turn on "black sheep wall" and apply some "show me the money," then sit back and watch the fireworks.
And then there's that time in Starcraft II where I mined all the minerals on the map to turn them into mass Overlords...
When I played WoW it took about 6 months for me to hit level 60 because I was having fun running around doing minigames and events and stuff instead of leveling like I should of been doing
When I played skate I had a lot more fun running around smacking the shit out of people with my skateboard than actually skateboarding.
Garry'smod, honestly just building and messing around with source physics gets boring very quickly.
Who the hell actually plays the story mode in GTA
Half-Life, Half-Life 2, the episodes, etc.
It's fun to screw around Freeman's Mind style.
In Team Fortress 2, I usually pay more attention to cosmetic items than I should.
The only thing keeping me from quitting the game in general is the hope of them adding something new and exciting.
Also, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
I always play that game as if it was a casual exploration game, and usually turn down the difficulty slider.
Well, If the vehicles handle decently in the game and it has enough terrain to explore, I usually grab a vehicle and go offroading. This includes games like every GTA game starting from III, UT 2004 (kind of), and Halo CE. Haven't got a chance to play the rest of Halos even though I've been thinking about buying those games.
