Would you guys recomend this drive or others?
And a large data drive to hold my data ranging from games to movies

Was torn on this one as this drive is cheap for the size but has a slower RPM and read speed compared to the F3 drives by samsung.
Will it make such a impact to my load times that i would be stupid to not get two Samsung F3 drives at 1TB
Personally I'd recommend two F3 drives in RAID 0 or check what WD has to offer in the 2tb range.
For SSDs you really can't go wrong with a vertex 2 these days.
The F4 is faster than the F3...
How is the F4 faster than the F3?
I can vouch for the Vertex 2. Although I can't compare it with other drives.

Benchmarks or liar.
The fact the F4 has a 5400RPm drive compared to F3 7200 screams its not faster!
F4 is 5400 RPM, F3 is 7200 RPM, simple as that. It would be best to go with two F3's if you need 2TB of space.
Still unsure what to pick, can anyone provide me some sort of information or theory so i can choose one.
But is it worth the extra $$$
If you want to play games off it or generally use it for anything other than storage/backup, get an F3.

2 F3s in RAID0, do this. You won't be disappointed.

You'll get the same performance if you don't use a crappy fragmented filesystem like NTFS lol
Shit at that speed is it even worth getting a SSD drive

SSD's aren't all about read/write speeds, it's mostly seek times that make the difference.
